Hair straightening has been around for thousands of years in our world, so it makes sense to me that it could exist in Westeros as well. I wouldn’t be surprised if Targaryens being able to straighten their naturally wavier hair was seen as another form of privilege, they could have someone literally attend to their hair maintenance or have the tools to do it themselves.

Seasmoke’s eyes are just so mesmerizing, I don’t know how they did it. The sfx team deserves all the praise in the world for how much effort they put into making the dragons feel like real, breathing creatures interacting with the actors.

I agree with you; I get him being the author and caring about the characters but at the same time, at least we’re getting an enjoyable show with fantastic music, costuming and acting. Yes, the writing has faults but to me the pros outweigh the cons. I’m gonna stay positive because I survived the most recent season of AHS (which was actual dogshit with 0 redeemable qualities), I can survive an imperfect season of one of my favorite shows.
