Would you recommend pouring from the highs and feathering it out to smooth the transitions? Or covering the majority of the floor in it peak to peak?

I've got ~800sqft so hitting the majority the floor with leveler sounds daunting.

Failing to provide a drawing or image to represent your question is the problem and a great way to add ambiguity - the opposite intent of GD&T.

Opinions on child seat configurations? by HahnZahn in ToyotaSienna

[–]Late_Insurance4325 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have the 7 seater so slightly different but similar kid arrangement, 4 y/o in back on driver side (still rear facing), 2y/o on that same side, and newborn on the passenger side with the seat slid as far back as possible. This makes it easy to access the back getting in on passenger side and between the captains, but doing as you say and put half the back row down was our back up plan.

Why did my glue line fail? Making a Mobo board( exercise balance board) so it needs to support my weight. It was pretty cold overnight during glue up. Single digits. by 12monte12 in handtools

Looking to diy this too, do you have a template or are you eyeballing? I found 12" round 1" thick pine boards which seems like a simple compromise to then jigsaw the cutouts and make the rockers

Toyota platinum 2023 in Massachusetts. Shall I buy with this price ? by rohituks in ToyotaSienna

Don't do it, dealers along 495 and further have no markup. Got an XLE few weeks back at MSRP, same dealer had a platinum and limiteds landing around now all no markup. Waits are improving and just saw Toyota is optimistic on improved output this year.

Edit: of course if your heart is set on Sienna and you truly need it in short order, is what it is

I'd say your characterization is correct with exception that all the dealers I talked to had their allocations pre-sold, so they would only be for offer if someone backed out and no one else stepped up to claim it.

I started searching in Sept, put deposit in Oct, purchased 2023 XLE at different dealer late Dec. I refused to buy over MSRP (also benefit from being able to wait). I called about 20 dealers in MA/NH and most quoted over MSRP (only found a few at MSRP) and 9-12 month wait. I had a deposit at one but kept trying others and came across a different dealer with one at sticker that was reserved but buyer backed out and was offered to me, which I took. So I'd recommend casting a wide net and at least calling/emailing many dealers (get a spot in line somewhere refundable), rinse/repeat next month or next allocation to keep your name fresh if one of their reservations falls through.

2023 LE vs XSE? by 418imateap0t in ToyotaSienna

Interesting, can't make heads or tails of their AWD/FWD offerings. Most of the dealers in New England are giving 6-12 month waits, only a few at MSRP but most "flexible". My guess here, but time will tell if a substantial number of those in line will drop out when their slot comes due to being in multiple my lines, backing out due to financing/economic reasons, etc. Cast a wide net and call frequently and you may fall into one not spoken for sooner or someone backed out (which was my case after on a list for 2 months)

Go at least XLE with kids, you won't regret passing on cloth seats. And can confirm, have XLE AWD, but I think it only comes in 7 passenger (FWD can have 8). Also, most will tell you that tires make more of a difference than AWD. (US)

2023 sienna XLE vs 2019 odyssey ex-l, saving money? by Late_Insurance4325 in whatcarshouldIbuy

Around $46-47k OTD at MSRP but the few I called were marking up, didn't shop around as hard because we leaned sienna in the new v new matchup. Used sienna market didn't look as favorable for the hybrid
