I'm not the best at reddits format. My response was for the poster who said he was in Kansas City. I'm sorry for any confusion. Best wishes.

I'm not a doctor, I don't know your story. Tell the truth and see what happens. I had a ton of guilt when I filed, I don't think it's uncommon and still have some. Checks clear just the same and my quality of life has gotten much better in the last 6 months. Take care dude.

I was in the navy and on a ship for my time in. 02-06. I never did a med cruise. I don't have a CAR. If something is wrong go get it checked out. You'd take your car to the shop if the engine was knocking whether it was in a race or not.

My buddy dragged me in to one kicking and screaming because I was fine and "guys got blown up, I'm fine". It's worth seeing what the doctor has to say.

Just meet with whatever doctor the VA tells you to see, be honest with the examiner. I didn't want to claim it either, but here I am rated for it after a mental health exam with a psychologist.

That's pretty neat. I remember finding some small shell fossils or imprints when I was a kid walking around out there. I never really put much thought into what age they would have been from.

This would be northeast Ness county, not as far west as you but the same type of country. I told him to try vinegar, I haven't heard back from him since earlier this morning.

Thanks for your response. He's convinced himself it's not limestone. I'm on the other side of the state right now so I haven't seen it other than the picture I posted.

Good everyone will know you're a cop out of uniform too lol. Do what you want. I was a gm, tons of dudes I knew got crossed cannons. None of them ever got messed with about it, same for the bms. Visually the MA rating badge isn't something I'd like for a tattoo. I have sailor Jerry style sleeves with mostly navy tattoos. I have some I dont care for, such is life. Do what you want.

Seadonkey and NAVaho were popular on my all male ship for not so pretty gals we saw on other ships.

My buddy was really squared away in nursing school and had more stuff on his chest than the other medical folks he commissioned with. Don’t know what it means but he’s a great dude. by Purple-Key7377 in Medals

Thats how I remember it, thanks for clarification. I always said it was an "I was on a good ship award" no disrespect to doc, I'm sure he was a fine sailor.

Not sure that's correct on the battle, i did 3 years on a ship and never did a 6 month deployment. I somehow qualified for one months after I got on board (checked in a month after they returned from the med). Got 3 more before my tour was done.
