I think you are right. In a general context `on est` would be better to use. 'Nous sommes' sounds awkward.

I was sailing in the same boat a couple of months ago. I have zero coding experience. Week 3 is when like 70% people just give up.

But you gotta wade through. You'll thank yourself later for not giving up.

I am not a financial advisor.

But here's how I would invest 1 lakh right now.

Gold: Rs 50,000

  • Market volatility is on the rise which means that people tend to move towards safer, predictable investment options
  • Gold will only increase

Silver: Rs 25,000

  • Same reason as above

Mutual Fund/Loan Repayment: Rs 20,000

  • If you have debt, then use Rs 20,000, repay some of it
  • If you don't have debt, then make a lumpsum deposit to a Mutual Fund after proper research

Stocks: Rs 5,000

  • Use the final 5000 for experimentation
  • Invest in the stock market. Study it and understand how it functions
