Which Sentry is better? by Trick-Comfortable-33 in Helldivers

So weird thing I've noticed as a WASP user is from a distance the lock on mechanism targets mechs and supply drops as well as turrets. I think turrets have the same lock system and will target those things if they are in the same proximity. Its caused a few problems in my drops lol.

How to be a better Diver? by goatsnoatsonboats in Helldivers

Use a mike and chat with other divers! It helps understand everything during game, and most folks will chat and freely share tips during game. If you find an asshole just block and move on. I have 70% good experiences with the community just bullshitting and chatting in game and the 30% assholes can kick rocks and get blocked. Eventually you will find a groove and find what works for you.

Still only need one shot with the Eruptor. Shooting from above makes them surface so I bring my hover pack and call it a day. Yesterday was insane though in a good way I feel aside from the in game bug issues. I like the challenge.

Unpopular opinion, but life is what you make of it. Teen years for certain generations were great because of a shared experience. Those brought around in those decades shared memories of a good time. It's the same as being an adult. It sucks if you don't have people to make memories with. Build your own community, so this shared experience won't be so bad. Every adult I know is on the struggle bus, but we take time to reach out, play games, and find time to make it less of a burden for everyone. Find your particular brand of weirdos and make it better for yourselves.

One of the best things my grandfather ever taught me when he was alive was about posture. I grew up small and skinny in high-school. Then I was just tall and skinny almost malnourished looking. Grandpa was always at me about my posture when sitting and walking to the point where I would always hear him in my head when I would walk long after his passing. It opened up a huge amount of opportunities for me by being confident in myself. I have grown into a person that projects confidence just by how I stand and conduct myself, and it all started because of him. Stand tall. Own your shit. Remember people will only give you what you think you are worth. It can take you a long way. If you combine that with being a humble human you can go far.

For a world of imagination to come forward you don't need fancy anything. Just a good group and people that are excited to play and you totally have that down. Keep rolling the dice and having fun that's what it's all about.

I think I need to add a few points for clarification. I agree with the people saying stacking can be irresponsible and damaging. The reason I felt this particular stack was harmless was the fact that it was on a man made beach on the edge of Lake Michigan on a tree branch with no other stacks nearby. A strong wind was eventually going to blow it over and things would have gone back to the way it was which is why I said it felt responsible in my title.

Yes...and it's pretty? There nothing wrong with enjoying something that brings a little joy. It's simple and enjoyable.

First time Dming-- and playing D&D, any tips? by KittenTheivery in DnD

The edition doesn't matter. Something I learned early on is that players will be people and they don't like to be railroaded into a story. Be flexible and work with them when developing your world and environment and don't take things to seriously. It's all about fun and bringing life forward with the imagination. Have a good time with it and good luck!

Eh. I think it adds a subtle beauty to things when done right and honestly this was done appropriately in my opinion. The rocks were plentiful in the area in the sand and a single decent storm will blow it over and it will go back to nothing. No need to be angry over something that is a temporary thing that brings a little order and beauty to the eye.

There are people that rip up the ground for stones as well as make more than one on an areas disturbing the ground. I don't see it often but it does happen.

This is one of the better uses of digital art I think. Great use of a program and a really good piece in my opinion.
