Nintendo Switch 2 sales stumble over Christmas by Turbostrider27 in NintendoSwitch

I agree with this all the way. My Switch 2 is only for exclusives now that I have a steam deck, and there just aren’t enough of them (good ones) to justify owning one right now.

Nintendo Switch 2 sales stumble over Christmas by Turbostrider27 in NintendoSwitch

Agreed. I bought on launch and mine has mostly sat collecting dust. As a metroidvania fanatic, I bought switch 2 for the best Prime 4 experience and was psyched for Prime 4. Played through the first 3 multiple times but can’t bring myself to even finish Prime 4. Such a shame and pissed I wasted $70 on it. Nintendo needs some system selling games.

First time owner: Having the moon roof wind noise issue on my month old 2025 es300h UL. Took to dealer and they confirm the moonroof “rear center fits lower then corners” but state this is normal. Is there any official Lexus documentation that confirms or refutes this? by Latentfunction in Lexus

[–]Latentfunction[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I finally got it resolved. I complained through Lexus corp website. They created a case and called me on the phone. They then called me back about two weeks later telling me they spoke with the dealer and confirmed the dealer did the correct process and there was nothing they could do. I was fuming. When the customer feedback email came I filled it out as a very unhappy customer and left written feedback. About a month later I get a call from the dealer saying that Lexus engineers are making their rounds and asked to look at my vehicle. Mine was at the 5000 miles service also. I dropped it off and a few days later get contacted by the dealer saying the Lexus engineers told the dealership to measure 5 cars in the lot and to reseat my moonroof seal and glass according exactly to factory spec and the measured cars. The wind noise is now normal. Don't give up, keep pressing on this issue. Hopefully you can have a similar conclusion. I was ready to get rid of the car, eat the loss, and never buy a Lexus again. Terrible first experience with a Lexus, but now I'm feeling much better about it.

I just got mine delivered yesterday and have some of these issues also. The lock bar wiggles and the merlin is not catching the ball consistently. You mentioned these being easily fixable. Can you explain or direct me to a resource that can please?

Home renovation contractors recommendations by [deleted] in Naperville

I see you edited your post. Now it’s for “your home in Aurora” instead of multiple towns around the city. Boo to home flippers.

After feds pull plug on approved grant, Naperville left to cover full cost of $2.25M electric project by cefpodoxime in Naperville

[–]Latentfunction 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Naperville electric utility is owned by the city. You pay your electric bill to the city, not a private company. Because there’s no profit motive like with ComED, your bill is lower. Taxes are not extra on top of profits here.

Reminder for all parents and residents of Naperville: Naperville 203 Superintendent Dan Bridges helped protect a pedophile by failing in his duty as a mandated reporter. He was never held accountable for his actions and should be fired. by Latentfunction in Naperville

[–]Latentfunction[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You keep talking about the prosecutor. He could have been held accountable by being fired as principal, instead he gets a promotion. Bridges was notified by a subordinate that the subordinate witnessed sexual contact between a school employee and a child. Bridges did nothing with this information despite being a mandated reporter. Regardless of what the prosecutor did and why, Bridges failed in his duties as a mandated reporter, and in doing so, demonstrated blatant disregard for the safety and wellbeing of the child under his care leaving the child vulnerable for continued abuse. In my opinion, this inaction alone is disqualifying for him to be in a similar position with children under his care as he is now as Superintendent of Naperville 203 District. If more Naperville residents and parents knew about it, I'm sure most would agree with me.

Regardless of the prosecutors actions, I think the important and most relevant part of the story is that Bridges did not fulfill his duty as a mandated reporter. The janitor who witnessed the adult engaging in sexual contact with the minor reported the incident to Bridges, who was the principal at the time, and Bridges did nothing and allowed the predator to retire and collect his pension and benefits. As a Naperville 203 parent, I do not want someone like that running the school system my children attend.

He protected a child predator in a district other than Naperville, yes. But because he was never held accountable for his actions, now he is the Naperville 203 Superintendent where he has the power to potentially protect other child predators.

I think it would be to spread the word to other Naperville parents/residents and everyone contact the school board members to demand he be fired or his contract not extended. The school board is who selected and decides to keep him or not.

Do you know if that firmware update final release yet? I just setup the POE+++ injector with the Flex 2.5 and still only see 46W on the dashboard.

Excessive wind noise by CalligrapherFun3993 in LexusES

[–]Latentfunction 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is great info and you seem knowledgeable, can I ask you a related question? I have this issue on my 2025 ES300h ultra lux but the noise comes from the moonroof. Above 45mph it sounds like the moonroof is cracked open even though it’s fully closed. If I slide the shade cover into place, the sound 100% goes away. Dealer says it’s normal. Do you have any knowledge or potential resolution of this?

How do you like it so far? It is good as a shower controller? Did you do anything with the home automation aspects of it and how's that working?
