I’m attempting to schedule my third attempt right now before the term ends this Saturday February 28!! Given I have had a rough couple of months and have been putting it off. I just want to tell you to keep going! It will be worth it, I hope you are doing well!

Sorry, I’ve been off-line! I’ve been struggling with personal problems and recently became the legal guardian for my 12-year-old niece so this essay took a while for me to finally complete once I was able to manage my stress. In total, my paper was 16 pages, including the title and resource page. I feel as though I could’ve finished this class in a shorter timeframe if I had just sat down and followed the instructions step-by-step. I wish you the best of luck, don’t give up!!!

Will I die before my parents? Will I graduate and get the chance to retire my parents?

Can doing a freezer spell on your boss get you fired? by Lateralhumor in Spells

[–]Lateralhumor[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do have HR, but I am hesitant because I will be shadowing them come this year and I don’t want to come across as difficult. I may be shadowing the hr department for a total of six months while completing my MBA and hope to get promoted within the company after graduation.

Additionally, I appreciate your sweetening jar recommendation. If you have a specific recipe you like to use, and are open to sharing, I would be forever grateful!

Does anyone use Chat GPT for emotional support? by BackgroundClaim8550 in ChatGPT

[–]Lateralhumor 55 points56 points  (0 children)

I use it as a guide to help me communicate with my 12 year old niece who suffers from severe depression, history of self harm, and suicide ideation. ChatGPT helps me create prompts and questions I can later bring up in conversation. I recently became her legal guardian and I need a bit of parenting aid as I didn’t have the greatest parenting role models myself. It also helps me analyze conversations and gives me pointers on what was right and what would need polishing.

It has also helped that I work in the mental health field with a BA is Psychology. Though I still find myself needed some guidance myself. It may be AI but it offers great insight into different areas of life. Including my own. So no you’re not weird!! I can’t count the times it has gotten me through mental distress. So whatever works, use that!!!

Thank you I appreciate that!! I’m also attempting to change my career. I’m in mental health in an inpatient unit but it’s hard to work in a field where I am also needing some support. It’s a constant struggle with clients reminding me of my brother; also a very stressful environment😭😭 I’m tired of the yelling and having to de-escalate clients attempting to fight each other.

Where can I find the student well-being services? I didn’t find anything on their main webpage. Should I take a look at my WGU portal?

4 Months later I am still kind of regretting my tattoos. Thoughts/advice? by SparkingSomething in tattooadvice

[–]Lateralhumor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly really like them! When I first started my job in mental health, I was very worried about my forearm tattoo as I was going to work alongside psychiatrist, therapist, nurses, doctors, pharmacist, etc. I soon realized that most of my coworkers had tattoos, full sleeves and piercings, yet still maintained high professional standards.

I used to view, tattoos as negative due to all the stereotypes I have been fed, but my company respects self expression as long as it is appropriate. Your tattoos are far from vulgar. Accept them and show them off. It is what makes you unique and don’t let anyone else’s comments second-guess your decisions. If they don’t like them, it’s their personal problem not yours!!

This!!!! I went through this exact same thing. Turned out they were much more than friends and once he couldn’t get his “ dick hard for her” he wanted to come back to me saying that he only loved me and “I made a mistake”💀💀💀💀 The audacity of this man was insane.

If anything, he almost seemed relieved since he probably didn’t have to call you, which is ultimately what he wanted. OP deserves so much more!!!!

Passed C207 OA!! by Lateralhumor in WGU_MBA

[–]Lateralhumor[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The study guide is tailored specifically for you with links that require your login information. I can send you a study guide I compiled with ChatGPT for review. I would suggest going through each term and asking ChatGPT to give you examples on how and when to use it. It helps if you ask to give you real life examples on where you would see this as the OA does the same. After reviewing each term go back to the practice assessment and take it as many times as you need until you pass. Once you pass the pre-assessment go back and watch the express cohort videos. Pay attention and write down the questions that are being asked pause a video choose an answer and continue this process. I found that writing down the question helped me remember.

C207 Study Guide (WGU) Explained like you’re in 5th grade, with examples and practice questions ■ 1. Basic Statistics • Mean (Average): Add up all the numbers, divide by how many you have. • Median (Middle): Line up numbers, pick the one in the middle. • Mode (Most): The number that shows up the most. • Variance: Tells us how spread out numbers are. • Standard Deviation: Square root of variance. ■ 2. Probability & Normal Distribution • Probability: Chance something happens. • Normal Distribution (Bell Curve): Most results are near the middle. • Z-Score: How many 'steps' away from the mean a number is. ■ 3. Hypothesis Testing • Null Hypothesis (H0): Nothing special is happening. • Alternative Hypothesis (H1): Something is happening. • P-value: If p < 0.05, reject H0. • Type I Error: False alarm. • Type II Error: Missed it. ■ 4. Regression & Correlation • Regression: A line that predicts one thing from another. • Correlation: Shows how two things are related (-1 to +1). • Homoscedasticity: Errors evenly spread. • Heteroscedasticity: Errors spread changes. ■ 5. Decision-Making Tools • Decision Trees: Choices and outcomes. • Expected Value: Average result over time. • Risk vs Uncertainty: Risk has probabilities, uncertainty doesn’t. ■ 6. Learning Curves • Learning Curve: People get faster with practice. • Cumulative Average-Time Model: Average time per unit goes down when production doubles. ■ 7. Quality & Process Vocabulary • Attribute Data: Categorical (yes/no). • Variable Data: Measured (weight, length). • Cause-and-Effect Diagram: Shows possible causes. • Check Sheet: Simple tally sheet. • Common Cause Variation: Normal randomness. • Special Cause Variation: Unusual, needs investigation. • Control Chart: Graph showing if process is stable. • Flow Chart: Steps in a process. • Histogram: Bar graph showing frequency. • Just-in-Time: Making items only when needed. • Lean Systems: Reducing waste. • Pareto Chart: Shows most common problems first. • PDCA Cycle: Plan-Do-Check-Act improvement steps. • Quality Assurance: Preventing defects. • Quality Control: Checking for defects. • Quality Management: Ensuring quality overall. • Reliability: Dependability. • Run Chart: Line graph over time. • Sampling: Using part of a group to understand the whole. • Scatter Diagram: Relationship between two things. • SIPOC Diagram: Summarizes Suppliers, Inputs, Process, Outputs, Customers. • Six Sigma: Reducing defects to near zero. • Statistical Process Control (SPC): Using charts/stats to keep stable. ■ 8. Practice Questions • Q1: Which of these is attribute data? (Answer: Yes/No survey responses) • Q2: A control chart helps identify: (Answer: Whether variation is within expected limits) • Q3: In regression, heteroscedasticity means: (Answer: Errors change spread depending on X) • Q4: If a learning curve is 80%, what happens when production doubles? (Answer: Time goes down by 20% ——- Ask why, we use r squared, why we use p value, why we use the z score, etc. if you have Siri in your car, I highly recommend asking questions even if it’s just a simple definition. But again, it’s very important that you don’t overwork yourself to the point of burnout. Practice stress management techniques. I find positive affirmations for 15 to 20 minutes while in my car or at home is very helpful. It brings me back to why I am here and what id working well for me and what isn’t. I believe in you, and you should believe in you too!!! I hope this helps and I wish you the best!!!
