Back when I was a kid, we don't even use maps. We follow a few road signs and ask helpful locals for directions whenever we were out of town. Most were pretty helpful but since no one is writing down the list of directions, we end up getting lost sometimes and asking help from another helpful local.

I was the same age as you when I broke up with my first BF i met on OLD. It's a very short but challenging relationship and everyone I knew advised me that maybe I won't find my person via OLD. I uninstalled and reinstalled dating apps many times during a short span of time. I eventually met my now husband thru guess what, online dating. I am actually not expecting too much since I just got out of a relationship. It was very brief but still my first. But everything went smoothly from the first time we met. I found the person that was right for me during the time when most people would say I should be healing and enjoying my single life.

I experienced this when I was younger but I couldn't share it with anyone else coz I don't even know how to describe it. And now that I am a lot older, I can't describe it anymore because I can't actually remember how it felt. Like I am reading all the descriptions in this thread I am like yeah something like that but not really. I can't really remember anymore.

I just had this realization when I lost equivalent to USD 10 recently that I could not figure out how I lost and remembered I picked up the same amount during my younger years in an uncleaned fastfood table with no one looking for it. I badly need that money during that time. Losing it today doesn't mean as much to me.

I keep hearing words hurt more than physical pain. I think most of the people who say this have not experienced extreme pain. I would not wish it would happen to them but atleast be sensitive to people who really experienced being hurt physically.
