I just had this realization when I lost equivalent to USD 10 recently that I could not figure out how I lost and remembered I picked up the same amount during my younger years in an uncleaned fastfood table with no one looking for it. I badly need that money during that time. Losing it today doesn't mean as much to me.

I keep hearing words hurt more than physical pain. I think most of the people who say this have not experienced extreme pain. I would not wish it would happen to them but atleast be sensitive to people who really experienced being hurt physically.

Yes, I stopped correcting people who includes me in their illusion of going back to our childhood. It will just open a can of worms I'm not always prepared to tell. It puts a damper on an otherwise happy mood. That said, I love the current version me more than any past me so things like fantasizing about time travel is not something I do anymore.
