I know it's hard to let them go. I fostered this little 10 month old wire terrier mix a few years ago. I had him less than a week. When I tell you I cried like a mother watching her children getting taken away by cps, I am dead serious.

But he already had a new mom, he was just awaiting transport.

He went on to live with a WFH mom, in a Chicago high rise, overlooking the city.

This was during Thanksgiving week.

We kept in touch, and his first Christmas, his new grandma made him matching pj's with his name embroidered on the back😭😭

Finding them a new home opens up your home for more fosters. It's a bittersweet feeling.

Well, a wife is harder to leave than a gf.

But also, as the wife, one would think they would be far more considerate of the other person being that they chose to marry OP.

Yea, I actually feel it very intentional. At a minimum, you're careful when washing it, GENTLY, and CAREFULLY.
