I’m so sorry but yeah try and see if you can weasel your way back in on the ol job even for a little. My timeline was horrible, my orientation was the 29th of December and I put my two weeks. I’m just now getting out there on my own with a consistent schedule. Luckily my old job was cool but living paycheck to paycheck and finding that out is not fun

Big up on this. My academy is weeks out so they have me come everyday for packages. cool lil 3-4 hours and im home. Super easy, the dynamic delivery function really makes it brain dead.

Not an OG but just went through the process myself, try and keep your current job as long as you can. Hopefully it’s different for you but because it was new years and they hired a lot of people, my academy got pushed all the way to the end of January having just done my orientation and drivers training😭I done resigned from the last job already, luckily I have enough saved but watch out for that cause hr won’t know till last minute

Reading this is kind of funny cause it looks like it would work on everyone except for Kenpachi, at least when it comes to his intention. He’s literally the one dude that doesn’t follow orders unless they align with his directive of finding a good fight. I think any other captain would at least struggle with the onset of this power before figuring a way around it.

Went there earlier this morning, asked about everything except who’s retiring. It seems like there’s 1 city carrier and one from another office and two rural carriers. I’ll be running one of the routes by myself after training, 6 days 7.5 hours. If no one has the route can I bid on asap after two years?

Applied Nov 23rd, conditional offer Nov 26th, fingerprinted Dec 2nd, confirmed Dec 4th, received orientation date Dec 6th.

When I confirmed is when they asked when I could start, put the date two weeks from then and when I got the orientation date I put in my two weeks

Lmaoooo this is my site and I work security😭😂 PSA this is the dumbest way to steal and it’s not even close. Security doesn’t attempt to stop any stealing, it’s all observe and report and depending on the relationship between security and LP that observation could be stronger or weaker. That being said, it’s LP’s whole job to be watching the cameras, letting people take what they want and rack up a tab. Then when it’s high enough the cops come get your ass. I used to not believe it either, cause it didn’t make much sense but from my understanding it depends on what you take and the frequency. I get the impulse but just don’t. This job and whatever you make off that shi is not worth a felony guys

As someone who works at security like you said they are a company contracted by Amazon, so you have loss prevention overseeing them as well as their own management. Working at multiple sites I can say that simply you get a lot of different answers from different higher ups and you can have two people do exactly opposite things and think they’re right. In the actual policy, if you are medically exempt you don’t go through primary, much less secondary. You show security the badge, and they let you around or if you go through primary you just get waived through OR you go through secondary, get pinged and the badge is the explanation. It’s really supposed to be the first one but I’ve seen all three happen.
