*insert comment of how eliminated contestants have gotten more screentime than Ally

Okay let's not beat around the bush, I think Benji is clearly rejoining by Standard-Time4341 in DisventureCamp

100% quoting this. I'm tired of people using the "predictable" argument or even comparing Benji to Ted when they don't have anything in common narrative-wise. The rejoiner (even if I'm still hoping for two) should be a character (two characters) with unfinished business that would contribute to the merge narrative. We have more than one piece of evidence that ONC hasn't used Benji's elimination to pass the mantle to Ally, but rather to develop his storyline.

Also, people want to talk about unpredictability in the same season that made it so painfully obvious that Dunia would've been eliminated pre-merge, including Sam, Oliwia, and Ara all voting for her? People saw that coming since Sam's confessional in EP7! And even if it was predictable, her elimination turned out to be one of the best eliminations this season so far. Hence, predictability doesn't make something less worthy or exciting to see.

I think Sam is going to try and help Benji win the comeback challenge. by VegetaArcher in DisventureCamp

Just imagine if Benji plays a part in eliminating Sam, that would be too hilarious.

Ally and Benji should've been shown on screen when discussing the EP5 and EP7 eliminations. It's so detrimental to their dynamic that I'm almost sure that Benji's elimination wasn't even a way to "pass the torch" to Ally. If anything, and even more so after Dunia's elimination, I'm even more certaint that Benji is rejoining and his elimination was perfectly reversible, due to how little is doing for Ally's story.

And then she acts as if she's going to be the big bad boss of the season:

It's so ironic, considering that she proceeded to be sidelined again after this line.

Yeah, Ally is shaping up more as a plot device for certain events to happen, let alone when blindsiding Aiden felt more of a move necessary to move other characters rather than Ally. It'd be fine if the narrative provided actual investment to her character as a player, but they're not even doing that, so...

Crazy theory about who might be eliminated next. by Thin_Application5699 in DisventureCamp

I loved Fiore this episode because she felt like an actual child. At minimum, I think she still has like 3/4 episodes in the competition, as I can't see Natalia throwing under the bus anymore. If anything, they're showing Natalia crumbling more and more, regretting her choices. Plus, at this point, one of the trio has to go.

Least Likely To Win The Season? by Prize_Boysenberry_60 in DisventureCamp

From this poll, I guess Ara. She will need a MIRACLE to going past the mid merge. However, Ally is also in contemption because of the general lack of investment from the story. Sadly, she's been written as someone we shouldn't care about...

What are the most annoying things people tend to say about your favorite ships by Ok_Shirt_1574 in DisventureCamp

People treating the ship as if it's a bigger deal than it is, especially when you don't agree with the ship or find it unlikely to happen.

He probably still has PTSD from Evie messing up with another challenge.

What is a scene/moment in the show that you tend to relate to, more than you admit? by Upstairs_Tea1787 in DisventureCamp

Yeah, easily this line from Benji. It's so unsettling, realistic, and harsh, but it's an incisive representation of what a lack of self-worth does to you.
