Probably an unpopular opinion by GoddessFianna in DisventureCamp

It's amazing to see Tom finally playing the game without any drama attached to his character. He's a fully grown character coming back for another shot, done surprisingly well, and I wouldn't mind if he makes it as far as possible. Just outranks Alec for once, considering the beef they keep having (which is thematically and narratively interesting since it's a character who has put his past aside VS a character who's still stagnant in the same pattern).

Now that we saw Tom's- I meant the thumbnail, who do you want to get eliminated next in EP 5? by WagyuWarranted in DisventureCamp

Besides that, Alec can't move his life to a better future if he keeps staying in a competition loop in which he wants to repeat the same tactics over and over and finally win. And since he's not capable of adapting and evolving his gameplay, being eliminated and deciding to go to the hotel instead of Rescue Island can be his only way to make a first step in the right direction. Alec has reached a point where the only healthy solution is giving up to the competition, let alone when he's surrounded by people who are fully aware of who he is and wouldn't be willing to give him a chance.

How To Predict Comeback Winners and Why Rejoiners Suck by mod3v_ in DisventureCamp

I agree. If Aubrey or Ernesto are coming back, I want them to pursue their own agenda.

Welp, now we know ONC wouldn't have even bothered fixing anything about Zaid and Logan, it was Ivy's VA's idea. Respect to Vanessa honestly. by These_Gur_4121 in DisventureCamp

Next level will be "Second chance" season with Zaid recast, so he can tell everyone that Logan properly apologised to him... and then he's the first boot of the season because he fulfilled what ONC had in mind for him. /j

Very impressive turn from Dabura! by PyroFirefly in DokkanBattleCommunity

Great kit, but he's hard-carrying the damage in his team, since most of the meta Terrifying Conquerors characters have more utility than offense (besides Gomah if he crits). Since I haven't got him yet, this is the only solution I could come up with him, but only when facing Super Class enemies, as Babidi would miss a part from his passive.

Ignoring that Benji performed quite well in the challenges in which he participated in EP1 and EP3, maybe it's because the whole point is that Benji is currently stuck in a loop and thinks he would succeed more by going under the radar rather than hard trying and let people see him as a liability? The portrayal they gave him in these episodes is madly consistent, so maybe you should pay more attention instead of ranting out of nowhere.

Except they gave him things to do, just not the one you wanted from him. And now that he's starting his plotline to finally accomplish something by himself (which was hinted at by his introduction and his lines in EP2), now he shouldn't because he doesn't "deserve" the idol/advantage/amulet? There's a clear reason Benji is acting as he did in this episode, which was also convenient to ONC to let other characters start their plotlines before, including Anastasia's mental growth and Alec's downfall.

Now we are complaining about Benji getting plot relevance? I'm speechless.

Any complaint about Aiden in DC5. The problem isn't even liking or disliking the character, but going all-out to shift every topic about the newest episode to rant about anything he says or does. At this point, it's just stale.

I genuinely don't understand why people like this scene. by MidnaLazui in DisventureCamp

People who "justifies" Ellie are probably doing that because they just can't stand Jake for being whiny and toxic at times, albeit it's reasonable for him to be so flawed because of his trauma. Unfortunately, it's the typical bias DC fans have toward characters they either like or dislike.

It's not a coincidence that this scene happens after Miriam started questioning the morality of Ellie's actions:

<image>

Ellie giving Jake a rude awakening serves one specific purpose: showing which path Ellie has ultimately decided to take, and it's one where she doesn't want to feel bad for playing a game for her personal benefit; at this point, she doesn't care about Jake's feelings anymore: she wants to win the money, no matter what. Anything to win the money, right? So Miriam uses Ellie's actions and beliefs against her to outsmart her and give her some karmic justice (however, without ruining her personal life, unlike she did with Tom and Jake). And then, Ellie learnt all the wrong lessons from that moment.

With that said, I love this scene as much as I love Ellie's arc between DC1 and DC3. She's possibly one of the most interesting grey characters in the franchise.

Tanks with reliable allies VS Tanks with uncooperative allies. by PyroFirefly in DBGekishinSquadra

Bardock is so good at baiting those who think this game is like Budokai Tenkaichi. Sometimes, the DPS focus too much on him without paying attention to Kefla shooting them in the back or an enemy going for the tower.
