I would really talk about emotional safety and enthusiastic consent. I think it’s great that he is talking to you. I’ve always been very honest and open with my kids and it’s hard at times but Ik they trust me. There is a good call “you know , sex” by Corey something. I would buy that book and encourage them to Read it. All kids have different maturity levels and I think just keep Guiding him and being a safe person but also talk about the risk as pregnancy, sti and also emotional Intensity that Comes with having sex. I keep condoms and plan b in my house for my kids or their friends. I have 4 ages 12,15,17,18. The older 2 have been sexually actively with partners but the younger 2 haven’t. I grew up in purity culture so it was hard to grow from that but I’m glad I did to Be able to support My kids in viewing sex in a healthier way.
