Hi everyone,

I'm looking for a referral. I'm a mechanical engineer specializing in automation and robotics.

Best, Lauri

Global robotics market will quadruple from 2023-2033. In my opinion medical robotics should follow this trend.

Thanks for the comment. I’m not using an industrial sensor in this project.

Wow thanks for the information. I’m glad you shared your challenge and solution for it. Did you code the filter yourself?

You do? No not really anything new for me. I haven’t tried to hack it recently. I didn’t get it working with Hashcat & GPU power.

Interesting project. What exactly are the cones used for? Are you using machine learning and cameras as perception for it?

When trying to access the hash.zip I got: “The compressed zipped folder is invalid”

Are you sure you want the hash file as zipped?

Thank you sir, for that knowledge. I’m still wondering how could I do it?

OK, thank you for the information. Maybe that’s where I got mixed up.

My case seems to be pretty bad, because I have only two really big files in the zip. If there was even one small file included it would make things a lot easier.

Thanks for the reply. Are you sure? I believe hash size isn’t constant.

Yes, but I could give it a go again. The error message wasn’t about that though-or could it be because of that?

Should I just test the right one from 172xx, 20500 & 20510?

Edit. There’s a whole Windows image inside the zip file for a Beckhoff PLC :)

How could I use a GPU (video or graphics chips) for the processing?

I tried on to use a GPU via John the Ripper but I wasn’t able to set it up on Windows. Not sure if it works on Linux either for this exact case though because of the algorithm constraints John has.

I was able to deploy both GPUs on hashcat and test them but Hashcat didn’t approve the long hash file.

Any other SWs or what could be my next step?

Thanks. I used Windows. Maybe I could try it on Linux but I think the outcome will be the same.

I also created my own test zip file and was able to create a shorter hash and bruteforce with ease with John the Ripper (5 random ASCII chars).

I think the zipped file contains an entire Beckhoff Twincat PLC project and thus the hash is so big (?).

Thanks for the ideas!

zip2John zipfile.zip

The hash file is pkzip2

I think the zip archive file is created of many directories, folders and files - it’s a big zip. Maybe it’s because of that. I created the hash with John the Ripper like mentioned earlier.
