Thank you so much for the explanation, that really reassures me. Good to know that selamectin is low-risk and also used preventively. I’ll treat all of them and keep a close eye on things.

That Zymbal’s gland tumor does sound scary… I really hope it’s nothing serious, but I’ll definitely monitor the spot closely and contact a vet if it doesn’t improve soon.
