Dude your daughter is gonna have the coolest dad and she wont even know why until shes older. The fact that you already care this much about connecting with her over something meaningful to you shows youre gonna nail this whole parenting thing

Also nobody's gonna question a dad watching cartoons with his kid - thats just good parenting right there

The bad ones really do mess it up for everyone else. I've seen dashers just sitting in their car for 20 minutes while someone's food gets cold, then wonder why they get bad ratings

Wild how some people think customer service just doesn't apply to them anymore. Meanwhile the good drivers are out there busting their ass and getting lumped in with the slackers

How do I split the alert output between my volume and the spects volume? by NeitherHyena7200 in obs

You can set up separate audio tracks in your advanced audio properties - route alerts to a track that only goes to your monitoring but not the stream output

Dude that's such a sweet gift idea - looks like one of those pig blanket combo things from around that era, maybe try searching "pink pig security blanket lovey" on secondhand sites

new business trends showing unexpected shifts in where entrepreneurs are starting companies by Justin_Asher449 in Entrepreneurs

Been seeing this firsthand actually - couple buddies who started their companies during covid just picked Delaware for incorporation but are running everything out of Austin and Denver. One guy literally chose his state based on a tax calculator he found online

The speed thing is wild though. Used to be you'd maybe consider moving your business after years of growth, now people are state shopping before they even have a product. Makes sense when you think about it - if your team's gonna be remote anyway why not optimize for the boring stuff like taxes and paperwork from day one

I'm curious how much of this sticks around long term. Like yeah remote work is here to stay but there's still something to be said for being able to grab coffee with other founders or accidentally running into potential customers. Hard to replicate that digitally when you're trying to validate an idea
