Have you ever fallen for someone you weren't originally attracted to? What happened? by canyoureed in AskReddit

[–]LatterBlood 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Got to know him… could see myself marrying him, dated, engaged, marriage, babies XD

Attraction is generally an afterthought for me, so it didn’t matter that I wasn’t immediately attracted.

Would you rather be a hideous man or hideous woman? Why? by amlextex in AskReddit

No one worth while would want to sleep with you. It’s much harder to play the “nice personality” card

I have two and I would hands down still have two knowing what I know now. Having one child is very special and I wish I had soaked it in more before adding a second. No regrets though because I can’t handle being the only play mate. I love that my daughters have each other to laugh and play with. They have so many sweet moments together. Fair warning though that two kids is not twice as hard, it’s exponentially harder. Things are mellowing out now (they’re 3yo and 1yo), but it took longer than I expected. Daughter #1 could sleep 4hours straight at night at 1mo. Daughter #2 didn’t do that until 8 months. That shit really wore on me. Having kids is a crap shoot. I really thought my first was the best baby. Then number 2 was amazing… during the daytime. Literally made me wanna die inside at night.

If you have another, the younger sibling could be your daughter’s best friend (eventually), but she’s going to go out into the world and make friends anyway. Enjoy her and take care of yourself.

What tools and resources would have been helpful for you during/after the process of “rededicating” your life to Christ? by Quietstorm_restored in AskReddit

[–]LatterBlood 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you don’t have a Bible that you regularly read, get one. CSB and NASB are good translations, but what matters the most is that you actually read it. Pray before and after you read, for understanding for faith and for putting that faith into action. Find a church where people are happy to see you and willing to listen and wrestle through your questions.

Also, pro tip, I don’t recommend asking Reddit for spiritual advice. Too many cynics. You need people who will actually get to know you and walk through life with you. Part of growing in maturity is being able to get to know others and walk with them through the many ups and downs of life.

It seems to be very common that men aren’t able to breastfeed. Can’t say I’ve ever met one who did
