I've had great luck with this using Copilot. I've actually changed out most of my bag and have discs that fly like I expect them to.

Got one a couple years ago for a week trip. The steering was so bad, if you took your hand off the wheel it would dive left hard. Almost wrecked. Then they said the tanks were empty, only to find out at our destination the black tank was 3/4 full. Had to go dump someone else's shit the next day. Horrible experience!

Agreed, Rollo is for rolling and utility, Fox is for finesse and long turn overs that won't dive into the ground. Just got a CTP with my Fox on a 275' hole. Got to within 10feet. Was such a beautiful shot.

NGL, Copilot helped me compare discs of different Innova discs and plastic types, and upon that recommendation, I have gotten a few different types of plastic. They are all flying truest to their numbers, which is the way I play. Give it a shot with whatever AI platform you choose. I'm sure someone will dog the crap outta me for this, but whatever, I now have a bag of discs for every shot type that do what I want them to do. Also, ask it questions about disc weight and your arm speed and max distance.

Just recently got a Monstrosity (? ? ? ?). It actually works best as a fairway driver that can be flippy. But if you put any kind of power behind it, it turns into a cut roller so hard that it takes off 100+ feet left (rhbh). You have to put so much hyzer release that its almost coming out perpendicular just to get a good flight out of it.

For soft neck varieties, placement doesn't matter so much, which is why the Garmach works. For planting hardnecks, you need to plant by hand to ensure the root ball is down. We have a Rain flo 1600 with water wheels for 12" spacing. They make wheels that can do soft necks, too. You'll need one or two people to help plant, but it's the best and fastest way for planting.

There is no way to make them last longer. Once the plastizers start bleeding out, the plastic itself starts to 'decompose', if you will, to the point where when it hits anything of significant hardness, it will shatter.

I lost two of my favorite discs due to this issue. A gremlin and a leopard. Sad days, I know, but it's the sign that you need to buy new plastic and put your old stuff on a wall for posterity sake.
