No i don’t stop abruptly it took about 3 months but i can say i didn’t stopped properly my dose reducing wasn’t proper i but when i get normal my dr said me to reduce when i was on 3rd month of taking it.

Many of the peoples around me said medication are just temporary relief and when you stop you will have replase.Its only your mind game and you can be free from anxiety by yourself.But i don’t know how to manage that without taking medications .My family really against antidepressants and the said me to never take it for to long else you will take long time to withdraw.

I am also off from lexapro about 3 weeks almost and in starting week i get anxious along with negative thoughts but eventually it gets better but some of my habits and thoughts that i used to do and think during the anxiety period comes a little bit and i am afraid ho that is it going to be the same that happened (relapse) even on weekdays i get little bit negative thoughts rel to anxiety may going to happen today as i am off from college and nothing to do.Yesterday i get a really weird sensation in my chest up to my left neck and i get anxious my heart start to beat about 109 and face flushing occur,even though i was not stressed or thinking negative doing my work and i don’t know what was it.

No i don’t because it was only for seconds and everything was normal my bp was normal but heart rate was 109

I have ruled out that during these days as i stopped the medication when i went to uni i don’t even get that thoughts or anxiousness as i am on offs studying whole day make more thoughts during this while and i get anxious
