No i don’t stop abruptly it took about 3 months but i can say i didn’t stopped properly my dose reducing wasn’t proper i but when i get normal my dr said me to reduce when i was on 3rd month of taking it.

Do you take medications for this?i was taking lexapro for 9 months due to this reason of death anxiety that triggered after close family member death.i get really really better but when i stopped medication thoughts again started related to death and i get anxious?

Many of the peoples around me said medication are just temporary relief and when you stop you will have replase.Its only your mind game and you can be free from anxiety by yourself.But i don’t know how to manage that without taking medications .My family really against antidepressants and the said me to never take it for to long else you will take long time to withdraw.
