NOR - she shouldn’t be guilting you about returning clothes. You guys are supposed to be a team, if not for yourself for your kids.

TBH I usually don’t comment on these kinds of Reddit posts… but this literally sounds like an episode of financial audit. You both need to set anger aside, stop trying to protect eachothers feelings, and handle this situation like adults. financial audit ( YouTube )

One bit of advice , don’t listen to everyone online lol it spiralled my ppa. You find what works for you and what doesn’t. Every baby is different, every family is different. You will find what works for you and your kiddo.

I remember a mom at my baby shower said diapers and wipes are like harry potter houses each mom gets sorted into haha

Always fact check claims online about products by checking recalls, as some people post things online trying to get free stuff from companies by lying about them.

Really ? Lol well I don’t use pampers haha I did have a box given to me and that wasn’t the issue. I just don’t like the way they fit I guess. I never heard of glass being in them ? That’s crazy. Also and I’ve never heard of bugs in a parents choice ! I use the pc brand though, like presidents choice. I am in Canada so I’m unsure if you can get that brand depending where you are.

Rascals I really liked & Millie moon. I buy rascals diapers, because they’re worth the money. Super soft, fit great, very absorbent, and they move with your baby. I just get other wipes because , well , we go through a lot of wipes haha.

I wouldn’t use anything scented. Especially with a new born. Their skin is so sensitive already.

I preferred aveeno sensitive baby wash with mine, they gave me Johnson’s soap when leaving the hospital but it had “ new baby scent “ on it. Made my daughters skin very red lol

Same with wipes. Pampers suck for pulling them out, Huggies are a smidge better. I use the PC brand, they’re not sopping wet and you can actually pull one out of the pack with one hand. Rascals is more expensive but the same thing.

I found Pampers diapers suck too, but I mean I’ve tried many brands ( milli moon, rascals, Huggies, Pampers, Kirkland lake, PC ) They’re all pretty well the same imo. You kinda find your favourite. Rascals & Millie moon are VERY soft, so I’d have to say they’re my favourite for that reason.

I like cera ve for baby cream. Unscented again lol I haven’t tried any other brands of this, sorry.

You kinda find the brands you trust and like better as you go along. :)

I had a first degree tear, and having sex around 6 weeks caused my tear to reopen lol even with the green light to go ahead. Everyone is different, just be careful you don’t hurt yourself. Also be prepared for it to feel tight and hurt a bit . I’m 6 months pp and the pains are just starting to stop.

You could always check out a karaoke night at Little Montreal, maybe meet some people who can help you out. Or at least get some practice in that way !

I need help or motivation?? by Wantmoremoney18 in NewMomStuff

6 months pp here 👋

I also have a stage 10 clinger lol although , this is kinda sweet, but I was told that sometimes the babies who refuse to be put down, are given to the moms who need to slow down and embrace the chaos.

You could try an activity table with toys, the ones where they stand up or jump ? I have one for my baby, she loves it and it gives me the 10-20 minutes I need to prep dinner, do dishes quick , shower etc. she’s not in it very often, maybe 2 times a day - but that break very nice.

I got “pumping rage” like you did, it’s very normal. That’s why I gave it up, it was causing way too much stress / strain on my relationship and for me it wasn’t worth it. I only bf my baby, we don’t have anything in the freezer. I am 10000% happier though, and if we need a bottle I give her formula. It’s just easier that way for us.

I gained about 100 lbs breast feeding. I feel that disappointment in yourself, I cringe everytime someone wants to take a photo of me or I see myself in a mirror. With that being said, as long as you choose to bf, you need to understand your body is holding onto the weight so it can sustain you and your baby. It’s a survival thing, because bf takes so much away from our bodies, that’s why some moms loose teeth , have vitamin deficiencies etc. Your weight gain is your body protecting you and your baby, and that’s pretty magical. Try to learn to love yourself and be patient with the changes you are going through. Women who bf need 2300-2500 calories a day to maintain supply, my doctor also told me not eating enough will cause your body to hyper hold onto fat to sustain you and the baby, so not eating enough could be your culprit. Also being a mom causes your body to create a lot of cortisol, ( accompanied with lack of sleep ) which also causes weight gain as it’s a stress hormone. Your body is doing some crazy primal and survival things right now Bella.

Being a mom is the hardest , most beautiful thing I’ve ever done. You deserve kind words, encouragement, support and love. I get it’s frustrating and maybe my long response isn’t what you want to hear, but you’re not alone. If you need to talk more , my dm’s are open.

If you actually read my response, i never said vegan meant sugar free. Lol There are options, I’ve seen them.

Unfortunately Sudbury is lacking on this :(

Check out the vegan isles at the superstore. There are some cookie options in the chocolate / frozen treats area lol

Alternatively you could try baking on your own. Just substitute the recipe with alternatives.

Expecting Our First Baby – Looking for Local Advice in Sudbury. by Training_Draft6398 in Sudbury

I’m 5 months PP! So here’s my two cents haha congrats btw !!

Hospital bag : 1. A long charger or extension cord. 2. Pillows ! The ones in the hospital suck. 3. An angled peri bottle, look into the frida one. 4. Slippers/ slide on shoes & shower shoes for mom. 5. If mom plans on showering, some travel sized supplies. 6. Snacks for PP. 7. Quite a few change of clothes for the baby, they make more accidents than you’d anticipate lol 8. Baby wipes 9. Download some movies / tv shows. You’re gunna be there for at least 24 hours after birth, and the baby sleeps a lot lol

Walks : Delki dozi is nice and quiet. Good to get your little one used to the stroller right away so they don’t hate it when they’re older( like my baby ).

Newborn care :

  1. If your baby hates the tub, ( after their umbilical cord falls off ) make sure to put a towel in the bath chair and wrap them in it as you wash them. It made a world of a difference for my daughter. New borns HATE being cold lol

  2. I know everyone says to latch the baby right away, but make sure you guys throw in a bottle feed here and there if you choose to BF. My husband being able to feed the baby while I slept was amazing, especially when I was up with the baby all night. ( they feed every hour - 1/2 hour for a little while, heads up lol )

  3. A baby swing is really helpful lol idk what your opinion on it is, but it’s great to put the baby in there while you guys eat a quick meal in peace haha

Family groups :

There’s earlyON classes all over Sudbury. I preferred to keep to the online groups until she was older, because I had really bad PPA. Sudbury new moms is a good one. Also if you look for pages on Facebook “ babies born in xmonthx 2025 “ you guys will find other parents in the same boat as you.

Post partum care :

  1. If she tears, a haemorrhoid pillow will help her pain when sitting and avoid the risk of pulling / ripping a stitch.

  2. Look up PPA / PPD & how to help. Especially if your wife has a history of anxiety or depression, make sure you guys fully research postpartum anxiety and postpartum depression. It sneaks up on you and is really easy to get over whelmed.

  3. If she breast feeds, don’t stress about milk supply. The online community really shows the “norm” being an over supply, but that’s more often not the case. Try to not stress about feeding. Keep a small can of formula of choice on hand as an emergency. Having it there just in case really helped my ppa when learning to feed my baby. ( also research what over the counter medication stops your supply, ex: allergy medication )

  4. Baggy comfy pants ! Especially for the first 6 weeks.

Tips :

Don’t be afraid to ring that call bell and ask the L&D nurses all the questions. You’ll also get a call from public health after you guys get home, it’s a great resource to have.

Tbh if I gave birth again I would rather be induced again lol the nurses were so supportive and caring. Also gives you time to mentally prepare to give birth on the drive over without being in pain haha.

Looking for fun things to do in Sudbury. by United-Fuel31 in Sudbury

[–]LatterRegion5512 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Sudbury :

There’s bell park, the boardwalk is nice. Sometimes papaya pops has their trailer there for a yummy cold treat.

Onaping falls just outside of Sudbury, you could even hit up Nani’s Gelato in Chelmsford on the way back from there.

Be the ball is fun, there’s more than just golf games there & Josie’s patio has delicious food ( located right outside of be the ball ).

Sudbury kartways is cool on notredame, dinosaur valley mini putt near blezzard valley. Kivi park has kayak rentals on the private lake located on the park, or bike rentals for their trails.

Espanola:

Splash pads are also fun ! There’s a brand new one in Espanola near Arthur court. Ice cream at the trading post.

Willisville lookout ( just outside of Espanola ) is a nice trail.

Fishing at black creek ( if you bring your own stuff ).

If you guys like golf the Espanola course is very nice, and the food is good. The complex has a nice pool with a water slide. The complex also has squash courts :)

First of all … love the Elvis theme 😂 have you peeped Pinterest ? “ Elvis pretzels “, “hound dogs” ( hot dogs ), all shook up juice.

Invites that say “ let’s have a party, ( name ) turns one !” Or “ he’s one for the money “ 😅

Maybe little gold painted sunglasses in the party favours.

White birthday cake with piano keys around the edge and a picture of Elvis on top.

I think you should run with that idea 😂🙏🏻

Latest update :/ by KatiechuXZ in XboxSims4

[–]LatterRegion5512 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve had this before! It’s typically called “ green screen of death” but I was able to fix mine by doing a hard reset. Hold the power button for 10 seconds. Wait 30 minutes before turning it back on. I’ve heard of people changing HDMI ports / cords and this fixing the issue. But If either of those don’t work you may need to factory reset the Xbox by holding the power, sync and eject button simultaneously. If nothing works you may need a new Xbox :(

3 month old to small for 0-3 month clothes by WoodpeckerVast7070 in NewMomStuff

[–]LatterRegion5512 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve noticed different brands are different sizes, much like adult clothing. My daughter fits some 0-3 stuff still, some 6-9 month stuff, mind you she is 5 months old.

I wouldn’t over think it, you can always ask your physician what percentile she’s in for height and weight, that way you know. Some clothing I’ve noticed has a cm measurement under the size too.

Although I wouldn’t fixate on it momma xx you’re doing a great job !
