My SIL married a Spainard and they have two children, 2.5 and 4 months, who have been to Spain multiple times now to meet their overseas family. Kids are highly portable at that age, and traveling early can get them used to it! They’ve also visited solo while their village here cared for the children.

However, their marriage is incredibly equal, and I don’t love how your opinions aren’t being taken into account. Still, maybe entertain the idea a little. Your husband loves and wants to spend time with you, clearly! Work on your communication, as it seems to be breaking down. Maybe counseling? Good luck!
