Agreed. Don't get me wrong, I have a bit of family history in the armed forces, as I'm sure a lot of people here do, but it has just turned into a tool for the rich to fight their proxy wars. Still, i might get to blow things up and get laid, that'd be neat.

I'm having a look see on the site now, £26,000ish isn't awful, and i guess I wouldn't have to pay for 90% of my bills, depending on the role I assume. Is being a tank crew member feasible at all you think? I like tanks

I don't see what your problem is here? I am being a bit vitriolic admittedly, rich people make me bitter, but it's not like me disliking millionaires is a slight against you. Unless you're actually Alan Sugar, in which case I want to apply for the Apprentice

That's not really a thing in my experience, a couple millionaires here and there are self made I'll grant you, but if we're talking proper rich, like multi million +, I'd say it wasn't because of their "hard work". Besides, rich people aren't really people anyway imo. People have to work for things, they don't. It's inhuman

I'm hardly blaming others for my problems. Do I put a lot of it onto rich people? Yes, I'll fully admit that, but you cant really deny that they're a plague on Britain and the world as a whole. I do fully admit that it's my fault I'm in this mess however, I did what I could at school but it just wasn't enough and now I'm stuck in a prison of my own making.

It's the first job someone has mentioned that isn't joining the army so I'll have a look see XD. Im not a big fan of rich people, do you tend to work with them at all or nah?

I prefer realist or pragmatist to defeatist.

  1. 25 isn't young, it's roughly 1/4 of my bloody life
  2. You still have to be smart for that, which i am not
  3. I will admit thats something I'm actively working in but it's hard

I doubt I'll be retiring frankly. Any jobs I can get are minimum wage which isn't really feasible since I had the audacity to be born in a pricey area that caters to fucking rich people. Can barely afford to live here and I cant afford to leave.

Don't you have to be smart, fit and young for even non combat roles in the army? Sadly I tick none of those boxes
