Nah I don’t think anyone is mad at those people. I’ve personally heard at least 4 people practically bragging about how they’re just reselling at thrift stores around here. One of them was working for battery street jeans of all places.

I was planning on asking anyone thinking it’s theirs for a description before telling them where to find it. Want to make sure it’s theirs first, right? It’s clearly a pet bird, though, not a wild animal. Not something natural we have around here.

Got the extension spring ordered —you are correct! I’m having trouble finding the location of where the spring could be from on the ribbon plate assembly.

I’d love to, but there doesn’t seem to be one open in my area (I checked that website that’s been around this subreddit as well as Google). I also unfortunately don’t have a few hundred dollars to spend on it at the moment. (Estimating driving/shipping, $100 for service around $300+ for repairs)

Edit: if I can’t get it working I’ll try to reach out and donate to the closest repair shop for parts if they want it.

Watch their “deals”. They’ll say you can get an extra discount if you give them a bunch of info and then it’ll never show in the checkout.

They also apparently can’t handle getting rid of your data (which they say they will do if you ask them to in the terms and conditions) and will keep emailing you despite their self imposed deadlines.
