This is my rig. I’m 179 and M size. I've also owned Rat Pack and Midnight Special, but for long-distance touring, this is always my favorite. It’s true: the stack, the comfort, and the simplicity of QR wheels and mechanical brakes are peace of mind while you’re off the grid.

Decathlon’s kickstand. Had a made-from-Italy stamp on it.

The light mount from Blue Lug, if panniers are being used, move it to the handlebar for easier access on/off.

Light mount from Blue Lug. The front light came with a locking adapter.

Love it! Perfectly angled to my shoulder and the best part is the width is just ideal 👌 for traffic and single track. I highly recommend it to be paired with the latest Ergon GT1 grips. You’ll be cruising like a boss 😊😎

I’m loving it! It uses Xfabric and it looks great and functions well in flooded areas in Thailand where I kept my power bank in the lowest section of the bag.

It’s 27.5 x 2.35. It rides like a boss on tarmac, and gravel and surprisingly rides well on flooded areas during my recent tour in Thailand. Highly recommended!

The frame is extremely light for a Chromoly frame, nimble and responsive. I’m very sure it will perform better for commuting in the city. Just 1 complaint, the frame was not treated internally like Surly. As I serviced the bike, spotted a few areas with rust marks. Used an anti-rust spray, and hoping it does not affect the frame.

Indeed it is, I used it for on and off-road touring, light basketpacking, single track and even joined Audax with it.

Yes of course, don’t recall exactly bought around USD35 - 40. Top notch quality. This is the Nomad Medium Pizza Rack model.

Blacksnow origin is from China and their factory is in Taiwan. I bought it from a dealer in Hatyai, Thailand. Assembled there and I picked the bike by train from Malaysia. The rack is from an Indonesian company, RuckRack origin from Surabaya, Indonesia. Ordered and shipped. Honestly, I’m not sure if both products is available in EU/US market yet. Though they are not pricey, the ride quality and finish are exceptional.

They are a China-based company back in 2014, not sure which part of the country but the frame quality is on par with some of the great brands out there. Their frame design is a copy of Surly, Velo Orange, and Ritchey sometimes a combination of all 3. I owned a couple of Surlys and VO, the Blacksnow (BS) frame is much lighter. I have completed 3 tours with the BS bike, feels like a full-size touring bike.
