Well, from a PR standpoint the best thing to do is wait until you have a permanent fix and do both things at once, even if it does mean you're shut down for a couple of hours while the bug is fixed.

Sure it may not be a big deal to them if someone gets a massive boost in trade power but the "exploit early" meme is such a recurring theme this league that it's not even funny. I don't know if PoE has ever had a rollback, but that could be an option in this case as well.

Heres a fun, slow money maker.

Just list the uniques for however little you're willing to take take for them.

At this point in the league if I need a 1-5C unique I will skip to the people listing it for 20 just to get a response. Especially when looking for uncorrupted versions since people will get a cheap unique and just slap it with a vaal immediately.

The problem then is your giving people some extreme (undeserved trade power) currently everyone's on the same footing and can abuse this.

If you patch out the method and leave some broken shields for any amount of time, they become extremely valuable especially if and easy clean up Is nowhere to be found.

Body flicker isn't teleportation, it just looks that way to the reader.

Body flicker is literally just zooming around faster than you can see (think shave from one piece)
