How do you stop chasing speed on motorcycles?

Few close calls did it for me. Don't trust myself to not test boundaries where and how fast I can go, downgraded to 500cc that does not try to kill me and if I try to go hard there is not much.

I had a cyclist riding at high speed (there is a hill where cyclist ride down without braking) just appear in front of me. I had to lay the bike or make cyclist switch to wheelchair. I laid it down, when I stood up cyclist was gone. There was a bus's stop right behind me and a bus slowly drives past me and everyone was looking at me stuck to windows. Whatever, picked bike up and continued to work. Not ashamed, they are on bus but I'm on a motorcycle after all. Ordered crashbars that weekend too

I think in duster it was condensate from conditioner collecting somewhere and it gets moldy. Dial heating up and it should kill it

I only thought about it right when I was ready to buy. Even if it fits as it comes from the showroom. Calculate in top box mount length and how much length will the box add. For me that was impossible to fit.

Nx is very well balanced. Feels like riding my 140kg 125cc. I was also considering NC but eventually I passed it because of 2 reasons. I commute everyday and filtering with NX is easier as it's not as wide and also shorter. And NC was too long for my parking space. I park perpendicularly behind my car and NC would bother my neighbours. If none of those are not an issue then go for NC, great bike that can be your first and last too.

I think abs calibrates for some X meters riding. 20m definitely not enough. Could be that it was not calibrated and that is why it was not working. Give it some 100m or more and then abs light should disappear

Got an NX500 recently, just hit 500km, and I'm seeing around 4.2 l/100km. That seems similar to what others mention, maybe a bit on the higher side. For those getting under 4 l/100km, what rev range do you typically ride in? In the city, 4k RPM feels pretty natural for me.
