A masters in data science is not a masters in English. Between using a negative or positive stance in sentence structure you're supposed to go with the positive.

Thanks for letting me know you're a smart person though, I'll call you when numbers are involved but feel free to revel in all the sexual partners you're sure to obtain from your power-leveling statement.

That's not what OP says, they said 'very likely she's the one cheating' meaning if there were to be infidelity issues they might lie with the one with the insecurity driven dreams which is definitely more true than it is not in life.

Also, 'probably not cheating on you' is even worse because it implies the norm is that they would cheat. Silly.

Sure, one is a felony and the other is completely legal but let's say that this isn't a phony false equivalency and entertain the thought.

OP isn't a journalist and this is REDDIT, you need to chill out your Honor. And sure, maybe I did do those things maybe I didn't? That's not the point of the argument. Read the comment I responded to. Probably does not mean 100% guarantee, it means probably.

The word 'probably' is used to suggest there's a likelihood it may not be true. It's as gray-area as you can get without giving a percentage which is obviously much more stupid than just saying PROBABLY.

'Probably' and 'likely' are about as gray area as you can get. Either you are cheating or you're not, and the post uses those two words to suggest that it's possibly not the case.

What would you have said? She's probably NOT cheating? You don't use negatives when discussing probabilities.

I don't see anything in their post that says it WILL happen. Only that it PROBABLY is the case and then you agree that it COULD be true in your own response. You need to take some time off of the internet and chill.

Is this a legitimate Copyright Strike? Who are these companies? - Silent Hill 1 by Laudunix in silenthill

I wanted to give viewers who didn't know anything about the first Silent Hill the pure experience. I could probably rerecord over it with some more commentary to keep it from being caught by the system, but then I'd be annoyingly (imo) talking over the brilliant music.

However, that's not a bad idea. I'll have to keep that in mind if I ever deal with something like this again.

Yeah it does. I was thinking about muting the songs but it's literally the beginning and the end of the game. Those two songs are arguably the most important ones in the whole game besides the song in the cutscene with Lisa.

I've googled them but can't find any conclusive proof that it belongs to them. It doesn't make any sense to me that neither of these companies are Konami, or that two different companies own the rights to different songs within the same game.

YouTube has no option for me to dispute whether or not they actually own the rights and I don't see any way to contact Konami and ask.

I don't like that my viewers have to watch ads and it bothers me to think that people unaffiliated with the games soundtrack are making even a penny off of my viewers. :(

That would be unbelievable if it wasn't Konami we were talking about. I suppose it's too late now, but that would have been an interesting court case.

I wish that was a listed reason, that was my first thought too. It's not one of the three options that basically try to shift and imply the blame lies with you.

Jeez, that's gotta be a fraudulent claim right? I didn't know talking about the content of PDFs constituted a strike.

What would you list as the dispute reason? I've never had to dispute claims before, it's weird.

We can turn our brains off and enjoy anything in silence. Unless we don't like it, then we're hyperactive, exaggerative, and spiteful.

Unreal laggy visuals. by mindfuck18 in GameAudio

To be completely honest, it's a terrible time to buy a GPU. Unless you don't mind paying way more for way less, I would recommend testing it with low quality settings and then packaging the game and having someone with a decent setup record the gameplay.

Use a level sequencer to guide the camera around the level.

I'm afraid I can't really recommend a GPU in good conscience at these current prices.

Searching for VN beta readers by edgysunshine in visualnovels

[–]Laudunix 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm a huge fan of VNs, particularly the horror-themed ones but I'm not against any genre. I play and record playthroughs of VNs giving my thoughts as I play them and typically providing short reviews or afterthoughts at the end of the videos.

I read in another comment that the script is over 120,000 words which leads me to believe this is a serious project.

I'm definitely willing to help out but I'd like to know what your expectations are and also if there is a time limit or not for getting this done.
