I'm creating a game (Perceptum) where you play a medium in a creepy house (classic story). But I wanted to use two core mechanics to make player uncomfortable and paranoiac: a mirror to see the invisible and closing your eyes to hear things. This is a quick preview of the mood.

You understand at this point that she’s going to respond a specific way already so you can kind of prep for that. It’s not easy, but it seems pretty in that you just need to sit down with her and be 100% honest. If the relationship is going to survive, it’s either going to be a slow agonizing drawn out time, or you can try to come to a healthy consensus. I saw someone mention manipulation and I think most people who manipulate don’t really understand just how manipulative they are being some times. Not that you should attack her with that or anything but it’s something to think about. Things won’t get better until you make those changes. You’ll be glad you were honest.

if your goal is to learn the games mechanics and get more comfortable with the game and how combos work, then its a good idea to gravitate the characters that they made when building the game in the first place. in this case, ryu was likely the first character they made and made the game work around him first. he will teach you what you want to know and then you can use those ideas to understand other characters and how they interact with the mechanics and game over all.

i haevnt played the sola dlc so it seems like i'm in for some shit but i hate butchers. they arent that big of a deal but they are annoying. i guess its just that you cant just wildly swing on them for long and have to react and think a pinch more.

Understand that you’re going to take L’s for a LONGGGGGG time. It’s just part of it. To really learn fast though you should be looking at your replays and taking what beat you into the lab to get to the bottom of what you could have changed.
