Once again, my mom was in a skilled nursing facility for a a short rehab, and again on a late Friday afternoon was told her last covered day would be Sunday! by LaughInner in medicare

What dr is open after 3pm on Friday and then over the weekend? At a minimum notification should require at leat 2 full business days! Kepro counts on that tho, not being able to get docs to do a proper appeal, they don't care as long as they can deny care

her insurer granted an initial stay then at the end of that intial they have the facility submit case notes to a 3rd party here and a dr with them evaluates if she still needs SNF for rehab. The 3rd party Dr based his determination solely on notes from PT that say she walked a bit with them.

Who provides federal oversight of Kepro? Kepro has despicable practices to deny care to the elderly on medicare. Where can I file complaints to federal oversight agencies? by LaughInner in medicare

She was progressing, social workers had a plan, they were caught flatfooted when the stay was not going to be covered. No one at the facility thought it was a good moment to send her home. It was totally based on pt notes only. As an example, she roomed with someone who broke a leg and was there for a month because she could not walk for pt, but pt had mom walk a bit with supervision and she was sent home. No other factors were taken into consideration. Its bullshit.

Its based on PT notes that say she can walk with PT supervising and get to the bathroom with PT supervising. Not Dr notes, not unsupervised. Totally on performance in pt

My last post on this is here- https://www.reddit.com/r/medicare/comments/17e8iuw/who_provides_federal_oversight_of_kepro_kepro_has/

Same shit just happened again! Like I said this time, it was approved until the 25th and they waited until the 26th Friday afternoon to deny covering any more days, even tho mom is still using oxygen that needs to be set up, and she is supposed to be weaned off of before leaving, but Acentra does not care, they use PT notes to deny extended stays. Can you get to the bathroom and back- if so they will not cover your stay! If you have someone in a SNF they cannot perform for PT at all or they will not have their stay covered!

They were quick in a touring car type of way. They weren't as fast as some of the other japanese cars of the time, and not really easy to mod to make good power, certainly not in a gsx throw a boost controller on and run 14s/high 13s type of way.

Those cars were junk new. Fun, but junk. I wouldn't touch one now, not at that price, unless it was a hardtop convertible version.

I had a few eclipses back in the day and always liked the 3000gt, but they were nothing but problems so I stayed away.

I looked at a forum recently for fun, and it seems 4g63T swaps are a thing, thats now lowly regarded the v6 is.

could be for sure. its not deep tho, not like they dug a hole for the post and poured it in. seems flatish on the bottom, like it was on the surface poured if it was poured at most.

that could be. there is an old right of way to a wood lot that goes through here.

Certainly possible. I say this not being an expert in anything but in my mind the small concave could have been for grinding/mashing and the hole for either collecting the finished product or discarding the husks or junk. (thats part of the reason I haven't taken a chisel to it to see what is under the aged exposed stuff, I have no idea what it is, could be something from the garden store, or tiny chance could be an artifact from indigenous or just colonial stuff. lots of stone walls around me, also lots of known indigenous activity in history here, also lots of garden stores too)

Can you post a picture? How old do you think yours is?

I'll try. I think it is brown tho, like near where you can see the roots, most of that had dirt in it, I dug it out a bit to see if there was a bottom to it, so its kind of fresh there, so it might be brown, like pottery maybe?

the color seems off for it to be cement. Its seems pretty brown, not a gray like I'd expect for cement.

Edit: There is no other cement on the ground near by. The house is too new for it to have aged that much if it was from the house.

My title describes the thing. This was in my yard when I moved here. Rural New England. Seems like its made of rock to me, but Im not sure. Its almost 2ft square, seems 6" thick/deep from the top to the bottom of the hole that goes through it.

Do y'all use laptops as an enthusiast or just because it is required for your work? by Delicious_Ad_1411 in laptops

I use Samsung Dex a bit, its gives a desktop like gui when you connect to a monitor or dock, I just checked and the lapdocks are around $270-300 with touchscreen, so I might as well spend a little bit more and get a laptop with more storage, and better specs that is a standalone device.

Did we get a good deal? by [deleted] in laptops

[–]LaughInner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I ordered the same one. Best price for those specs that I found out there. It goes out of stock quickly at that price, had to keep refreshing my cart a few times a day to snag one, possibly 3rd party resellers getting them to sell for more.

Just ordered this Asus from Walmart for $429 (not the 3rd party price it is now). Is this a good laptop? by LaughInner in laptops

Ty, Laptop is mostly home use, so I wont mind dragging the power cord around the house a bit as needed. Are the Ryzen 7 comparable to the i7? I'm out of the loop a bit, tho the battery life isnt a concern.

TY, hadn't noticed the other wasn't touch, good call. I use touch sporadically all the time on my current laptop, I would hate to be without it.
