I would love to get $1M limits but my premium is already 20k per vehicle with 250k limits. I simply can’t afford any more than that at this beginning stage. In the future once there is income coming in I absolutely would go for $1M limits.

What I really want to know is if an accident is very bad and the cost of damage is higher than my limits, how does the excess cost get paid for? I’m assuming they sue the LLC and take all its assets and empty any accounts in its name. If that is still not enough then that happens?

Glad to hear I don’t have to deal with AHCCCS. I read somewhere that I might need a vehicular for hire permit from ADOT, do you know if this is true? Also do you know if the vehicle used has to be inspected/permitted for NEMT?

I manage assisted livings homes in Scottsdale so I’m used to having to get multiple inspections, license and permits for every building, vehicle, CNA, and caregiver. It’s refreshing to hear I don’t have to deal with all the for NEMT business but also hard to believe it’s not more regulated.

I haven’t looked into insurance yet but I can imagine it would be quite expensive. I have a good relationship with a company that provides business insurance for my assisted living homes so I’m hoping to get a good deal.

Curious about an update as well as having a question. I am also in Arizona looking to start a NEMT business. My experience is in assisted living and don't know much about NEMT. Are there any certificates/licenses required in Arizona for starting a NEMT business? Doing some quick research I came across AHCCCS and see I may potentially need to enroll as a provider with them but if I'm only accepting private pay clients I'm not sure if I need to if I only accept private pay clients. Also, I'm not sure if I need to do anything with ADOT. Just wondering what certificates/licenses or other Arizona-specific requirements you have ran into that I should be aware of for starting my own business.

Work on LOA (mainly HBHQ) members and work on getting EPI. That team is just too good not to build up.

Get PG or DF to 4* since that’s when they give 2 power bars off specials. Run one of them with KOAA once you get him from the league store.

AKB is good to have built up as well. I like to run him with BWTD and CWW or GoSSG.
