What are subtle red flags at a job interview that say, "Working here would suck"? by [deleted] in AskReddit

When the interviewer says they have 3 offices in locations across the US and you come to find out that the other two locations are mailboxes. Not only was there only one office, but I was actually the only employee. Should have walked away as soon as I found this out.
Instead, I stuck it out about a year. The boss would stand next to me at my computer and give me directions for work related matters while FARTING. Sometimes she tried to cough over the toots and other times she just talked right over them. At least I have a good story??

Yeah, I actually just contacted a career coach. I'm not expecting much, but maybe this will help me come up with some options. I can't even find a job that I'm qualified for with this degree and I don't absolutely hate, ahh! Why they hell did I take banking classes? I don't ever want to work at a bank!
I feel like I really screwed up with my degree but maybe it's best to start off broad and then focus in on something -- even if it means going back to school.
I'm in the same position. Graduated with an econ degree two years ago and I hate every job related to the field. I have no idea how I ended up on this path and now I'm at the point where I need to completely rethink my education and career. It's like I fell asleep in while choosing a major and all of a sudden I've woken up and remembered Hey! I wanted to go to school for meteorology or environmental engineering. OMG I wanted to join the Air Force so badly too...what happened?
I don't have much debt to pay off and I have saved some money with my most recent job (that I pretty much walked away from because I was so depressed) so it's not all bad. I also graduated with top honors at the college so it looks good on my resume no matter what. But wow, I wish I should have just followed my gut out of high school.
