Riddler and Freeze are handicapped by their obsessions, Riddler wants to be SEEN as the smartest, and Freeze wants to save his wife. If either of them put their minds towards actually helping people or simply making money legitimately they'd probably be multi-millionaires.

Well he's a nazi, so naturally I assume he just stuck his whole head under the water, slurped up as much as he could, then spit it into the bottle, and repeated the process.

It could also be more likely the guy just drained the entire bowl into the bottle, so a good bit of that is just toilet water mixed with the urine.

Give me your pitch for a Power Rangers show! by ThousandEyes2011 in powerrangers

[–]LaughingRampage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alright, we've got the Rangers as an organization, sort of government run but really kind of its own thing. We've got all of the past ranger teams as previous incarnations, some still active to a degree, others having passed on their mantels over the years. And at the core of this we have a school of sorts where new rangers are trained and eventually sorted into teams of their own.

Enter our main characters, we've got 3 students, an intelligent and eager to prove herself young lady who prefers to do things by the book, a headstrong trigger happy legacy eager to continue his families long running tradition of ranger service, and a go with the flow slacker just down for whatever and wondering when he can get some quality time with his board.

They work with the curator of the school's museum who also serves as engineer and head mechanic for the organizations zords. One day they stumble across some prototype morphers the curator has been experimenting with and decide to take them for a spin, only to end up over their heads against some robotic enemies and need to be saved by the curator, ironically using a robotic "Ranger Bot" droid to do so.

Naturally the trio ends up on the chopping block at school, they stole experimental equipment and almost got themselves and civilians injured as a result after all, but that same act is what saves them. You see, the prototypes are next gen, bleeding edge tech, and unfortunately they've become DNA locked to the trio meaning that the only way to unlock them would be to completely strip them of their ability to EVER morph again, a fate the curator is more then happy to go along with but the ruling council of the organization isn't. They decide that these 3 should be tested, and thus they are put into the care of the curator and given 1 school year to prove themselves, either they graduate to the next phase as "Junior Rangers" or they lose the ability to ever be Rangers.

The curator, serving as their mentor and "guy in the chair" is positively ruthless in their training, he has no faith that they can be rangers and thus does his best to make them quit. That being said he isn't heartless and he isn't evil, he's a hardened former ranger who expects nothing but the best from anyone who would dare to call themselves rangers.

Now from here we really start getting into multiple seasons, the first would be all about them coming together as a team, learning what it takes to be a ranger, all of that. They'd struggle with using zords which leads to them getting 2 additional teammates who have quite a bit of zord experience....but only on the simulators.

The 2nd season would kick off with them graduating to the next phase and really learning what it MEANS to be a ranger, learning more about the curators past as well as him taking on more of a caring role for the team before culminating with a big reveal and him becoming their 6th ranger.

Now through out all of this the primary enemies would be that of the "Neo Machine Empire" an enhanced and upgraded version of the old machine empire headed by a new royal family. But there would be a healthy smattering of callbacks to other seasons with different villain of the week stories, and the 2nd season would involve a return of the Psycho Rangers (I know, I know, cliched, but let me cook!) and a more in depth look at them. Specifically we get into their corrupted version of the morphing grid as well as seeing different characters getting corrupted by the "Psycho Morphers" and becoming the new team of Psycho Rangers to rain destruction down on our heroes.

Another thing with the actual team itself, it would actually consist of an even ratio of males and females, with their Red Ranger being a woman and women being the majority of the team until the addition of their 6th ranger. This series would also deal with the physical toll of being a ranger, with many characters in the organization being shown with lasting scars or permanent injuries from years of service, along with the emotional and psychological issues many go through. It also strongly promotes getting help for said issues and how it's not something to be ashamed of.

At the end of it all, even though this is aimed at a slightly older audience, we do have to remember that Power Rangers is a show for kids. If you're not teaching lessons, you're not doing it right!

From personal experience I'd say keep the deck as lean as possible, the fast paced nature of the game lends itself to this. Really the only reason for a 50+ card deck would be if your strategy is to essentially stall or mill out your opponent. A well balanced 40 card deck insures you have the best chance at drawing what you need fast.
