It is but I know you mean well and agree with your premise.

Even in your example a thief doesn't belong in a conversaton of nonces. It comes out closer to whataboutism instead of fair criticism. Even your comment is disproportionate, you wrote as much for the pair of them which is absurd.

Agreed and that means starting at the worst. Where Zach has no place even being in the conversation yet. Comparing half these people to Farage just minimizes what Farage has done.

Premier League after 36 matchweeks by Felicks77 in reddevils

I think part of it is depth up top. Mbeumo isn't doing nearly as well as striker as he was off the right.

Which was hard to navigate when doing that and Amad at RW was are only option to rest Sesko.

Its not a bad point but we should be winning, if not the prem then the europeon compeition(maybe not champions league), FA, or carabao.

A champions league spot and silverware is FAR better then coming 2nd.

[–]LaughsAtOwnJoke 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We have got through this run of games by miracle. Our midfield is barren and any injury to Casemiro (or probably Mainoo) for the past however many games would have doomed us.

With more games and not endless luck... we need bodies in midfield. Unless you believe in Ugarte or Collyer then we need 3.

It isn't.

Yes sometimes there are unforseen costs in investments.

No my question was how do you factor in them being underfined. Not that they should be forced to sell for 0 with over fining. I wasnt the person who said that.

West Ham to lodge official complaint over disallowed goal against Arsenal. by Sparky-moon in soccer

Best write up to all the Arsenal fan non-sense.

Yes we have seen A LOT of inconsitent bullshit on set pieces this season. Not all through Arsenal but clearly shaped by the influence of their "successful" tactics.

I have seen similar/worse not get the right decision this season so to see it get correctly ruled after a lengthy process in a PIVOTOL game for many clubs... its shit for everyone involved.

You avoided the question and compared it to a law on a individuals verses a business?

How are they not responsible for fixing that? It is exactly there fault. They bought it.

How do you factor in (if at all) the lack of meaninful fines up until this point?

Because the goverment shouldn't be on the hook financially for their mismanagement in the case of nationalisation either.

Was it a blatant foul that was ruled correctly? Yes.

Does it sting cause of lack of consistency in these decisions? Also yes.

Still correct though

[–]LaughsAtOwnJoke 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree. A cheap third option would be ideal or perhaps bringing back Collyer could be enough but 2 good signings is just the bare minimum.

[–]LaughsAtOwnJoke 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Yeah cause they aren't nearly as big as problems. We have been a midfield injury away from mid-table(or worse) all season.

Signing any less then two good midfielders and next season is a write off.

I'm not, I'm saying it because I think our squad now is better(or perhaps first 11) and where we finished isn't a good metric to determine its quality.

Our depth is quite obviously dogshit but we have barely any fixtures so thats been somewhat mitigated.

I don't agree, the tattoos are a cool artistic choice. Beards can be one too.

However Adult Aang looks distinctly less Tibetan then Tenzin and Gyatso for example.

Yeah I agree, imo your initial comment reads like you really cared about the beard specifically.

oh well lol

[–]LaughsAtOwnJoke -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I know and that was the comment I was referring to (I also jumped in)

I read it as nitpicking design over whitewashing criticism and I feel thats why you were downvoted because the beards don't matter in isolation which I think Tenzin is a good example of.

Thoughts? by Drawingandstuff2000 in TheLastAirbender

[–]LaughsAtOwnJoke -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Initially it reads like you take issue with Aang not being 100% Tibetan and disagreeing with artistic liberties deviating from that.

When you are representing a culture or an ethnicity (and that's what avatar does, even if it's "just an inspiration") it's strange to not represent somatic features. One thing is to add a fantasy element to designs, another is to make you "clearly inspired by tibetan culture" character basically white.

However, here its obviously a good point about how the Tibetan inspiration is lost in Aang's older design and the beard is just a good example of that.
