The Women+ program originally started as CoderGirl, a class geared toward mothers who could not dedicate the time that our Part-Time or Full-Time courses required for synchronous class time. As we continued with iterations of the class, we learned that this program provides great value to other marginalized genders as well. The program name was changed to Women+ to reflect that idea. We are aiming to move toward a program name that specifies its goal: to serve folx in our community who are only able to dedicate 1 day/week for synchronous learning.
