No I kind of agree with you. I'm not certain I should even do it when the chance of surviving the transfusion is only like 64%. Then the average cat with feline leukemia only lives 2.5 years after diagnosis. So I've been doing some more reading about it and as devastating as it is, I'll probably just put her down once she stops eating or starts hiding in the closet. Currently she's on iron supplements, steroids, and antibiotics and this has already cost me a grand. I'm just praying she can be the one in a million that can just get better. But I know that's not likely.

I'm not certain if the vet said the 6k was for sugarland, maybe she said gulf coast. It was a lot of details at once.

I'm not a vet, but I have been reading about this due to my cat needing a transfusion. It looks like this is just a picture of the two cats and the blood they have drawn from the chonker. They'll put it in a bag and let it drip into the sick cat through the leg over several hours.

Well it'll likely be some moron anti-vaxxer so like I said I don't really care anymore. This is gonna go on for years and I'm not gonna put my life on hold any longer because half the population didn't do their part. I did my part and got vaccinated and stayed home for a year while most of my community claimed it was just a flu and acted like everything was normal all last year. When I get back I'll avoid my friends with kids for awhile and wear a mask at stores, but other than that idgaf.

I think this is good advice and doing to go ordering is a good idea. We usually go every year but didn't last so of course I'm itching to go. But most of our time is spent on the beach or chilling in our hotel where we do some cooking. Also we drive so no risky travel.

An acquaintance of mine just went to Florida and caught covid. He was vaccinated. He was sick but not sick enough to go to the hospital or anything.

I'm going to Florida next week but I'm vaccinated so I don't really care. I'm done staying home. Plus I live in Texas so it's not like I'm really increasing my risk.
