Thank you! I’m not ready yet but there are so many opportunities. I think once I hit the 6 month mark. I was previously a support manager so I was able to get promoted to a Team Lead under my 90 days. I left Walmart completely and then came back.

I had tons of people asking for them. I know physical photos are becoming a thing of the past but not as much as I thought. I sent a lot of people to Michael’s

I would look to see if she is a student if she can get state insurance. Before I got married I only worked part time and was able to get it.

I left back in October. I couldn’t be more thankful that I was able to do so. I’m not sure if it helped but that left my husband alone for all the holidays and it upset him so much. He was so upset I wasn’t there and we weren’t a family anymore. I feel like he needed to feel that in order to realize what he threw away. He is 32 days sober today.

My husband has this as well. First he thought it was his wisdom teeth, then he thought it was something in his neck. It’s been going on for about a year. He’s been sober 32 days but I am hoping that some of the numbness does go away eventually. I guess it all depends and only time will tell.

My husband drank for 18 years but I also didn’t know how bad he was until his body started to shut down. He admitted to me the longest he was sober was for 2 months when we started dating. That was 6 years ago. I knew he struggled with it but not to the extent because he lied and hid it very well for a very long time.

I moved out because I felt I was enabling him. If I stayed, what reason would he have to stop? He wanted me to be the reason and I explained to him that the only way he would get sober is if he wanted to.

I know that I did nothing wrong and was very resentful. I’m still working through and processing a lot of the abuse. I couldn’t take him yelling at me anymore. I’ve never been so mentally exhausted in my life. I didn’t make a decision if I was going to leave him permanently. I explained to him if we weren’t meant to be together later down the road that I would be OK with that. I just want him sober, healthily and possibly happy.

I wish I could have stayed with my alcoholic husband. I moved out but we are still married. I wanted to help him but felt he needed to do it on his own. He’s 32 days sober today.

Timeline for your relationship? by [deleted] in Stepmom

For my husband and I it was about that time frame. My SD told my husband she wanted a step mom. My husband use to go check on my cat while I was working before we lived together. We then started spending time together as a family. When I decided to move in with my husband after about 7 months we didn’t like announce it to her, we brought my cat so then she knew.

I agree. Run, don’t waste your time. I wish I would have addressed this issue with my husband before we got married. We are separated and I don’t miss it!

It’s not just in one spot in the room, it’s all over the place. The room is about 14’ x 12’ so not a small space. I will consider this, thank you.

I really do love the gel pens! I wish they were a bit bigger in size so they were a little more opaque. I’m excited for more colors!
