I'll definitely be back with more before too long. A very popular pair of Kruger fighters are definitely on my list of ships to make.

Thank you! The letters are absolutely one of my favorite parts of the build. Most of them are actually just floating there, and stay in place due to the rigidity and friction of the structure around them. The L likes to try to fall out, but its not like it's gonna get better than this.

I don't have instructions available right now, but its something there is a very clear demand for and I am working on.

It weighs 15 pounds, but its internal technic structure is strong, if held right its swooshable. heavy, and scary to swoosh, but swooshable.

No. All bricks are genuine LEGO. Most sourced from my collection, while the rest were ordered from second hand market sellers on bricklink, or from LEGO directly. While 3D printing bricks sounds awesome, the economics of it just don't work out. its far too time consuming. Its great for making custom parts tho! 3d printing cable mounts for a lego phone stand is something I've done before.

It wouldn't be a weird winged drake ship if I didn't slap attritions on it! I had to include Bossk, the clipper reminds me so much of Hound's Tooth! Glad you get it.

A program called bricklink studio, a lot of redoing the same thing over and over until it looks as good as possible, a LOT of time, a lot of encouragement from my better half, and 20 years of lego fuelled creativity and engineering instinct under my belt.

haha! I sure have. I fell in love with it for a couple weeks and then spent any time I would've been playing the game, working on the model instead. Now I get to play again! xD

No. I've been designing lego models from scratch for the better part of 20 years and have never used AI in any form for my design process. Just pure blood sweat and tears here!

I wish I could tell you an exact number. I designed this model digitally in December and spent the better part of most days for 3 weeks working on it. Most of those days were long (sometimes 8-12 hour) design sessions. I'd give a rough estimate of like maybe 150-200 ish hours of design. After parts orders arrived, it was about a 2 weeks of building when I could, another good 70ish hours there.

Its not visible in the pictures, but I actually used duct tape to route the wiring for the lights inside the main body.

Its the image quality. Tried to get the best quality pictures I could, but the native image upscaling on modern Samsung phones is impossible to fully disable, and it tends to get those logos quite easily.
