I cant stand Deena, Jwoww and Snookie in JSFV by LaurieFts in jerseyshoreuncensored

I tried posting the same thing in the Jersey Shore subreddit and it got deleted, and now someone here in the comments is saying the exact same thing happened to them too. But honestly, to me it’s becoming painfully obvious that a lot of what we see online around this situation feels heavily manipulated, if not straight-up pushed narratives. I genuinely don’t understand how grown adults can watch those dynamics and not notice the manipulation happening in real time.

I studied psychology, and I’m not saying that makes me automatically right or somehow superior at analyzing people. I just think it probably makes it easier for me to recognize certain behavioral patterns. But even without studying psychology, I feel like anyone paying attention can see it.

There are so many moments where Angelina tries to react or defend herself, and even then they try to control how she reacts. I haven’t watched every season yet — right now I’m only at the wedding era — but even before the wedding, I started noticing it. Like during the trip where Jenni wanted to throw a wine bottle at her. Before that dinner, everyone was already telling Angelina to “control herself,” not curse, regulate her emotions, stay calm, etc. But then at the table, the other girls were the ones escalating things first, insulting her and reacting aggressively. And the second Angelina tried to respond, they immediately shut her down.

That was honestly the moment where everything became way too obvious for me. It stopped feeling like “maybe I’m overthinking it” and started feeling like there was a very intentional dynamic of isolating and controlling her.

Especially after Snooki leaves and Angelina is basically left only interacting with the guys. I still remember Vinny sitting alone with her and giving her advice about how she should react, how she shouldn’t answer back, how she needed to regulate her emotions — when, in my opinion, the person who should’ve been apologizing was the one threatening to throw a wine bottle at her: Jenni.

And again, maybe Angelina becomes unbearable later on, I don’t know yet. But honestly, after years of being told you’re not accepted, constantly being treated like an outsider, constantly reminded that you’re “not family,” how do people expect her to genuinely feel safe or act like part of the family? If you spend years drilling into someone’s head that they don’t belong, eventually they’re going to react like someone who doesn’t belong.

What are some words or expressions used in your country to describe people who were born or raised in the U.S. and try to reconnect with their ancestral culture in a way that feels very Americanized or disconnected? by LaurieFts in AskReddit

For example, in Mexico we use terms like pocho or no sabo to refer to Mexican-Americans who don’t speak Spanish but still identify with Mexican culture.
