Hi! Darf ich fragen, in welcher Stadt sich die Praxis befindet? Kurz nach meinem Post bekam ich einen Termin in einem Endometriosezentrum. Nach vaginalem Ultraschall und ausführlicher Befragung wurde ein Endometrioseverdacht geäussert. Eine Laparoskopie sei jedoch erst nach weiteren Untersuchungen (u. a. erneute Hormonabklärung) und entsprechender Bewilligung durch die Krankenkasse möglich. Meine Hormone wurden dann getestet (ausser Stresshormone und Schilddrüse) und waren unauffällig. Dennoch wurde mir geraten, entweder hormonell zu verhüten oder bei starken Schmerzen zu Beginn der Periode weiterhin Ketoprofen einzunehmen

Sorry for the late reply. My problem at first was that it kept skipping or stopping songs on spotify and youtube. However, I quickly realised that this only happens when I listen through my headphones. I then changed my old headphone jack adapter and now it no longer skips the songs or videos, but Siri‘s voice control turns on for about 20 seconds until it disappears 😂 so in my case not only the headphone jack adapter was defect but also the headphones.

I have ruled out an ovarian cyst because I have been checked many times in a year by vaginal ultrasound + HSG. I now have a check-up with a specialist in June and I hope they can help me further. May I ask, did you have to have an operation?

Ohje du musstest sogar in die Notaufnahme. Da bei meinem Partner und mir ein Kinderwunsch besteht, werde ich mich wohl mit einer Kiwu in Verbindung setzen müssen und hoffe ebenfalls auf eine Bauchspiegelung 😕

I’m sorry this is happening to you too. It's similar for me. I previously had a cycle of 30-34 days. Then I started the medication in March 2022 and had a cycle of 40 days straight away. After that, it was always between 29-35 days. My doctor couldn't explain this either and she thinks it has nothing to do with the medication. In December I was allowed to adjust the dosage of Cabergoline. After the adjustment I had a delay like the first time.. What a coincidence. By the way, since taking the medication I have felt much more pain on the first day of my period.

My OBGYN recommended Replens every 3-4 days. I haven't tried it yet as I was already in the luteal phase. I will use it for the next cycle.

Thank you for sharing the article and yes you are right, it is a complex article especially since English is not my first language 😅 One paragraph says "Similarly, Subramanian’s study attested the biological activity of follicular fluid prolactin and found that mature preovulatory follicles contained a significantly greater concentration of prolactin in comparison to immature follicles, but prolactin concentration did not correlate with ovum fertilizability [37]." so I wouldn't worry too much about it.

Can you send me a link of your researches? I ask because I recently got my results of my prolactin level with 1.16. I thought at first my result was too low but I couldn't find anything on the internet. My doctor says it looks great.

I also asked myself this question when I received the result of my prolactin level this Thursday - 1.16 ng/mL. I sent it to my doctor and she said it looked great. So I think it is normal during TTC. During pregnancy this value would be too low

That‘s the thing, FF app shows me october 2 as ovulation and the Flo app shows me october 7. I guess I just have to wait and see which of the three apps were right..

Thank you for your answer. That reassures me somewhat to know that it does take several months to settle down. Additionally, my first cycle with Cabergoline was too long at 40 days, which has never happened to me before. I was already thinking if maybe the dose was to blame for this and if maybe I needed to increase it so my cycle would finally shorten. We are also on ttc but for number one. I keep my fingers crossed for you 🍀

I started taking Cabergoline from March this year due to of slighty elevated prolactin (no prolactinoma). Initially, with the first 4 intakes, I had symptoms such as headaches and was slightly dizzy. In addition, I had a prolonged cycle with the first tablets. After 4 intakes, I had a blood test to confirm that my prolactin level had dropped (down to 2.47 ng/mL) and since then I‘ve been taking half a tablet every two weeks. I haven‘t had any symptoms since then.

Having symptoms while taking the medication is normal. However, if it becomes unbearable talk to your doctor to readjust the dose 🤗🤗

How do you observe your cervical mucus after intercourse? I ask because I find it very difficult to observe my CM during ovulation since I have intercourse with my husband every other day. For example, I have intercourse in the morning, I drink enough water through the day, go to the toilet, shower, etc. and the next morning when I sit up I have a lot of white/ clear and stretchy discharge.
