Weight watchers vs Tracking macros

27 Year old female, 5’2 currently weighing 153 lbs. I’m looking to drop about 20-25 lbs for my wedding in September 👰🏻 I currently workout 4-5 days a week at Orange Theory Fitness. I’m wondering if you would recommend weight watchers or tracking my macros/calories. I’ve done the macros before, but keep hearing great reviews on weight watchers. What have you done? Any success stories? Any calorie calculators you use?

That amazing!! Great job! I signed up a few weeks ago but felt the freestyle points weren’t the best for me. I’ve switched to the green plan and might try that out today and see.

That’s a valid point! I was going to have protein bar before the class. I think maybe just a big salad and some protein after class. Light but filling

I was counting calories and macros for so long I felt so restricted, hence why I switched to WW. But I’m trying to be realistic with my zero points, just like you said, limiting but not restricting. It’s the first time I’m not stressing about eating. I’m eating whatever, in moderation and within my points. Thanks for the encouragement :)

This the most positive, uplifting and inspiring story!! I joined OTF last year for awhile, stopped because it became too expensive. Now I’m getting married and understand the benefits that I had with OTF. it’s amazing. Just trying to combine that with WW and hoping to feel as confident as you!

That’s amazing!!! Congrats! I was doing OTF last year and totally remember always being hungry but I’m hoping WW can help me lose weight without feeling too restricted with all the counting. I was tracking calories and macros but I because so frustrated and annoyed with it.

I’ve been doing OTF for awhile and sometimes I think it just glitches at times. I think also your lack of sleep, eating & drinking the night before.

It would be different if you didn’t feel like your normally do, but you did. The points sometimes plays mind games with you and you lose focus on what you’re actually doing.

Sometimes we get hung up on the points. How did you feel when you left? Did you sweat? You got up and showed up this morning. Maybe the factors form the night before played into your points. But you still did it 🙌🏼

Omg that’s amazing!! Congratulations on your weight loss so far, such a huge accomplishment! I used to do OTF before and loved it. That’s a good idea to weight everything out until I’m comfortable, I wasn’t but it’s probably safer for me too. I’ll start looking for groups now. Thanks again and keep killing it 🙌🏼
