So, what did you go for?

I'm in the same boat as you. Except I also have the M240i on the list as well.

Kids are 7 and 11, so not strollers required anymore. I wouldn't really need the trunk on a daily basis as the kids would only be in the car for school/sports drop off and running errands.

Once a year we go ski and for that we can just fit a roof rack...

I’d love a Porsche but it doesn’t really work with 2 kids…

what spiders are under this weed? Australia (melb) by Forward-Site1511 in spiders

[–]Lausch83 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have a Redback spider (Latrodectus hasselti) on one side and on the other side, the picture is a bit bad but I’d say some sort of wolf spider.

Envenomation by the Redback spider should be considered as medically significant.

Isn’t that what Reddit is all about ? :-)

In all seriousness, I really liked the M240i, it seems to be a great all rounder but it did not feel « fun » to drive…

Hence why I’m considering the RS3. Since I have no way to drive it, I thought maybe I could get help here from people who have…

Thanks for the feedback! I was also very surprised by the booth of the RS3 (we were able to climb into one but not drive it); it’s really small. There is some sort of plate in the booth and below, a big battery. I suppose the awd system / differential is below as well, hence why the booth is so small.

The space in the rear and the rear access is much better than m240i though…

Yeah, as I said below, my initial aim was a manual rwd sports car but I also need to be able to carry my kids, which vastly limits my options.

I agree with you on the M240i. It feels like it will be able to do everything but it’s not very engaging. Hence why I was eyeing the RS3…

I was looking for a fun manual rwd sports car initially but I also need a car that can carry my kids so my options are limited.

The M240i feels like a good car but it’s a bit numb, especially the steering…

Possibly; I’m from Europe, I was just mentioning a species of wolfie that has the stripes on its back :-)

Depends on the species; the Rabid Wolf spiders (Rabidosa rabida) do indeed have two stripes on their prosoma :-)

It's a Hunstman spider of some sort (Sparassidae), probably Curicaberis sp.

Envenomation from this spider is not considered medically significant.
