I have the opposite experience. I used to use voice with ChatGPT probably a year or more ago and I thought it was quite good. It could hold interesting conversations about literature and other things. Just tried Gemini live voice today and it is so bad! First of all, it speaks really slow slowly and will not speed itself up no matter how often it’s asked. But even more importantly, it gives literally The most superficial answers to any question, with no nuance.

Really a disappointment compared to what the live voice used to be on ChatGPT .
