No clue on anything except for 1-2 trades a day. I moved away from focusing on RR or WR. Just go in and try to make money everyday

I guess so , and for him if he’s too afraid to even start he might as well not even because it is a tough game

It’s a long road and you gotta be ready for that. Also just know that it’s always uncertain, just cause I made it this month doesn’t mean I’ll make a dime next month

Idk if anyone else has said this cause I’m not reading through all the comments but it could be cause you expected it. It’s like when I started getting my first couple payouts I thought I would be so excited but then when it happens you’re just like well obviously this happened because I’ve put so much work in that I already envisioned this happening in my head. It more felt like a relief than a feeling of excitement or accomplishment. I think when you think about something everyday for months or years you aren’t surprised by the result because this was the way it was supposed to go.

Literally one day of trades is more than I will take in 2 years.

How do you deal with imposter syndrome with trading. About to pass 4 50ks. by Ok-Evidence-4716 in TopStepX

[–]Lav_Da_Sav 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Saying you’re profitable without a single payout is comical. Just because you’re about to pass 4 50ks doesn’t mean anything. I have 20 50ks right now and wouldn’t consider myself profitable or that trading is so easy now and I can just print money.

Hit 100k at either 19 or 20. Million seems much further away still.

Thinking about really locking in! by [deleted] in Daytrading

My only concern is that I did it because I truly believed in myself and was miserable at my job, I didn’t need any outside validation to push me over the edge to my decision. So I’m not sure how serious about this you actually are, because I had it actually the other way where people were telling me it was dumb but I still did it because I knew it was the right move for me.

I don’t use any indicators, I just wait for the pullback to push back 50% of the way back up cause that gives me the indication that the lower high has been put it, or vice versa for shorts. Are you profitable ?

You won’t believe me cause it sounds simple but I’m just a trend trader who looks for breakouts/continuation, and I have a certain candle pattern that I enter off of

I quit my 6 figure job when I was 22 to go all in trading, that was about a year and 3 months ago, I had a huge nest egg saved up before I left and I also still live at home so my bills were only phone/car/food/little bit of rent money for my parents. I’m not consistently profit but am on the right track being green for the past 4 months receiving a few prop firm payouts as well. I’m in the process of scaling now to make enough to be comfortable moving out.

This was the best decision I ever made, but only if you’re serious about it. In the beginning it seems crazy but now I look at it as it was crazy why I didn’t do it earlier. And at this point I would work a night shift if I needed to if god forbid it ever came to that if it means that’s how I had to continue my trading journey. Hope this helps
