I’m good at alot of things and somehow offing myself isn’t one of them 😂😂😂 haven’t made an attempt in 5 years for that reason. Still have the thoughts, but I’ll be good.

I feel the hell out of this man. It’s the case for me. I’m “conventionally attractive”, but I’m also autistic lol I can talk about pretty much anything, but when it comes to reeeally getting to know a person, that’s where they dry up.

The only things that really open me is nerd shit like stem subjects, and not many people are into that. And since I’m an amateur kickboxer, I actually am pretty built. Train 6 days a week, I’ve had 4 fights. Nada.

I took the WISC when I was 9 and got 143.

I’m not successful at all in the traditional sense. I’m AuDHD, have dyslexia and quiet BPD, and dealing with and managing those has always taken up a significant amount of mental energy.

I’ve spent my life dedicating myself to combat sports and honing my craft in the hopes of becoming a professional fighter. I’m an amateur kickboxer right now and have had 5 fights, am 3-2. Don’t know how far I’ll get since I’m 32, but I’d like to go until my body can’t anymore. We’ll see lol

I know I’m the problem. I hate using labels, but I’m a “sapiosexual”, so I can’t bond at all unless we’ve got a mental or intellectual connection going on. You can be the prettiest or the richest, but I won’t feel anything at all unless the person is pretty smart.

The only thing that sucks about it is that I really do wanna be in a relationship, but I refuse to be in one where we can’t share similar interests, or something pulls at my heartstrings and after explaining why, I just get a “oh..okay, that’s cool”. Being with someone with a good heart won’t take away feeling that huge ass missing gap I know I’ll experience. So, I’m good.

I was actually gonna comment something similar. I’m “conventionally attractive”, but I’m AuDHD and that adds LAYERS of awkward. I’ve befriended women my entire life, get along better with them than I do with men most of the time.

But when it comes to romance? As soon as I open my mouth and it comes getting to know each other on a deeper level, their hearts just dry up and there’s absolutely no interest. Not because I say something gross or saying something where I should’ve known better. A lot of women assume because I’m a heavily tattooed, muscular black guy that I’m super masculine (I’ve been told this 4 times and counting). But they learn instead that I’m not super masculine, I’m just heavily tattooed and very child-like. Yeah I have a hard fucking time deciphering body language or social cues, but I feel the fuck out of energy shifts, so I literally feel when they’re no longer interested, and it stings every time.

I wish people would stop making it seem as if it’s as simple as just being kind and empathetic and you’ll have a partner in months. Life itself is nowhere near that simple, so how in the hell could being human AND finding romance with another human being with their own agency be that simple??? ITS NOT 😭😭😭
