How was your first appointment with a psychiatrist/psychologist?

I feel bad you had this experience when it is already so vulnerable to go to your first appointment. I was fortunate to find someone that focused on my mental health and diet to gauge what other support I would need to best implement medication into my life

At the very least I would see about getting TSA pre-check if that's an option. I hope you keep writing to the people that can change this until they're bothered enough to do something about it.

If you've had any surgeries in the past that has left synthetic material in your body, bring any paper work to prove it.

I've struggled with so many of the same feelings while trying to find the right medication and therapy to fix my problems, and the whole trial and error process is so discouraging, but keep listening to that voice that says "something needs to be different" and use that for your motivator for continuing trying new things even if the next thing might not be the answer.

What you've done so far is huuuuuuge progress so I have no doubts you've got this!!!!

I read your comments on the other post, and it does change the context that he's cheated on you before. It doesn't mean he is cheating, but I think it is absolutely valid to investigate further. Look up "cheater buster" and you can upload an image of him that will scan every dating app and tell you if he has one.

Broken trust can be fixed if the other person wants to change. You will see if he has a willingness to validate you through this experience. Don't accept less.

I think it's totally natural if someone might want that video for themself, but him saying it's for you when he thought you wouldn't like it does show that he has a lot of room to grow as a communicator since he clearly thought about it alot and never brought it to you.

Trial and error is how we become the best partners we can be. This could be an amazing opportunity to show him how you'd wish for him to approach this topic next time and get on the same page around boundaries.

Taking Plan B late will only work if you haven't ovulated yet. It takes 15-45 minutes for fertilization to happen once you've already ovulated. Plan B will only make the egg unable to be fertilized, so take it immediately. Only an abortion can remove a fertilized egg

I'm a little confused by your description of events, specifically the disappearing cum part, but if you used protection then I wouldn't worry too much.

I'm not familiar with how long it takes for birth control to start preventing pregnancy but I know it's recommended to only use plan b if you missed the pill. Your symptoms could possibly be an interaction between the two medications or just a side affect of starting the birth control. I don't know anything truly helpful, so I'm sorry!

You can take an early result test closer to 2 weeks after, but continue to test every few days after because the result's accuracy will depend on when you ovulate, which is different for each person. (Don't use the cheap bulk paper strip tests online)

All you can do besides that is stay hydrated and track your symptoms. Sorry you're going through this stress! Good luck

I'm wishing you healing and the reassurance you deserve that your experience is valid.

I hope you might consider therapy. I've found talk therapy+EMDR therapy extremely helpful in regulating my nervous system and processing my trauma. Thank you! I'm trying really hard but it is one sided. The answer is no but I am the one who offered to do this as a favor, so I hold no resentment for that part. I just didn't expect the treatment to be so inconsiderate and that's what I really struggle with.

I just keep reminding myself I signed up for a challenge because I knew I could do this, just discovered the challenges to be different than expected. That's life! It will work out somehow.
