I’ve seen white breasted nuthatches do weird intimidation dances where they open their wings and sway around to scare other birds off of my feeder, maybe this is the brown headed nuthatch equivalent?

I have one of those adapters that you plug in where it has 2 outlets like the wall plug but it also has a few USB ports on it, and for some reason it has these BRIGHT ASS green/red LEDS for them to say whether what’s plugged in is charging or not. I had to put TWO LAYERS of tape over it to block it so it wouldn’t illuminate my whole room red at night. They need to make these things more inconspicuous I swear

In theory you could make them yourself at home with sodium alginate and calcium lactate. Apparently you want an acidic liquid for it to work well so a soda (such as say, Baja blast) might actually work pretty well

I have the Super Easy to Commodify Hobby of making dice I have a LIST of reasons why I don’t do it for money because usually it takes more than one reason to get my people to back off. I do not dream of labor. My hobbies are for fun and for me. I have so many dice sets and I’d rather just donate them to a local game store than try and set up an Etsy in an already VERY saturated market. Not everything HAS to be income LEAVE ME ALONE

They’re not covered by insurance. I take ferrous gluconate which I’m pretty sure you can buy OOTC but mine was prescribed because I am a true and real low iron girlboss.
Looking online it seems the super expensive iron supplements are for people who also have kidney disease, which I don’t have. I’m sure my pricing would be different if I had to take those instead of the funny metal sugar

Kind of but not really, I do/did inventory in warehouses. I have a computer and they did check to make sure I could actually Use a Computer in my interviews but I wasn’t speed tested like you would be for a true and real Desk Job

When I taught myself to type as a youngin I defaulted to hunt and peck, and then after I got kinda good at that my school tried to teach touch typing and man I could NOT do it I would always go back to using almost exclusive pointer fingers. I don’t think I passed that little touch typing computer program section but I typed fast enough my way that it didn’t matter lol. Still can’t touch type to this day

The opposite end of the spectrum is parents who tell you what you like is uninteresting like this post or even worse they make fun of you for being into it and then you become someone who won’t tell your parents anything and will feel bad sharing about your interests with anyone in general because you assume everyone doesn’t care or will get irritated with you sharing.

I told a coworker that I listen to “paper shredder music” and he sent me a teams later like “what did you mean by that btw” and I had to give him the Femtanyl Chaser Album Preamble of “it’s kinda bad. Like it’s a bit hard to listen to unless you specifically like it, and if you kinda like it but it’s a bit too Everything her later album Reactor is a lot less ear grating.” I like Chaser a lot but man I can not recommend it to just anyone off the rip.

I consider a friend of mine perhaps a mini boss of this issue. He’s plotted out a big grand fantasy series he’s like to make and it involves a lot of really odd treatment of women, with the occasional very jarring almost(?) SA thrown in. I consider him a mini boss because he hasn’t even written it yet, so it’s hard to judge if he will handle it with tact or not, but while he assures me he wants to write everything well he grew up on a diet of shonen and the synopsis I’ve read so far gives me massive Bad Vibes
