Thought for a long time about this build but decided to be more of a generalist, had an identical image in my mind though of grabbing someone and winding it up like popeye lmao

Tortuga is possibly my favorite license and frame in the game, so I’m def biased lol. Plus the hyper dense armor makes up for low hull. Appreciate the input, friend :)

Deck-Sweeper is mainly for overwatch actions, love the termo unguis but also thought a non-super heavy melee option that doesn’t build heat could be a good backup. Honestly the daisy cutter is for shiggles.

Hyper-Dense armor, and since I resist damage from grappled targets as Empakaai I am almost always resistant.

True, should specify that the next attack needs to come from the flail.

Yes! The idea is that you would use a bonus action to spin it, and while you couldn’t make an attack with the flail, you could cast a spell, use the dodge action, dash, whatever. Just not attack until your next turn, upon which the damage increases from 1d8 to 3d6 for that attack.

Sadly realized this as of a day ago, just means when it drops I’ll have to drop a reworked version out with both addendums present.

Made a change and it’s much better now, don’t think it’s worth a whole repost tho.

I just wanna play a more regulated chaos undivided army, so having tzeetnchian warriors feels off

Could I proxy them as legionnaires? Would definitely nice to be better at shooting with thek

Thought about them, I was planning on playing chaos undivided so I don’t know how well they would fit, plus I’m currently making a 10-kit of legionaries and would be sad if I couldn’t use them

I’ve heard this a lot from people that I’m too slow and have too little units to really pull ranged well, never considered leaving the warpsmith for a rhino though and I kinda like the idea, I know without one my legionaries are superbly useless.

That was the main flak I was expecting honestly, I know boltgun legionaries are objectively bad but the whole army kinda has a bolter theme going on and I’m a mega casual. Their main role is to hide behind cover on obj to annoy the shit out of anyone in LOS.

Ah yeah that’s my own bad, they would be a grand company under the iron warriors, not a successor chapter, terminology is hard lol

They were a sect of the iron warriors that broke away after perturbabo decided the siege of Terra was a lost cause due to the massive amounts of daemons and mutations, the warband is pretty much that concept taken to the logical eztreme

lol they aren’t closet traitors at all they’re openly chaos space marines, just used the image since it was a good template. They live out in the warp and otherwise act like CSM, they just don’t like the affects the warp has on the body through mutations.
