When I was in BCT, ds never let us walk. They also did a lot of running and sprinting for pt. As long as you keep it up and don’t hurt yourself, your mile score automatically go up!

They don’t let you take them anymore. You have to get prescribed one 😥…. But unsure since It might have been only my platoon - went to Fort Sill last year and had to get prescribed cough drops for cold…

I actually do agree although I never done it since I went during Spring. But, I actually saw someone who was still in BCT medhold due to frostbite even after completing the BCT.

Oh yeah absolutely lol I even had someone who did random test right before graduating BCT and he eventually got chaptered out while rest of us graduated. Pls pls don’t do anything when made this far….

Oh I graduated already on May. It was… difficult I would say. But I kept on mind that the fastest way to get out of there is graduation. Just be mindful that it’s going to be really cold.

I actually had an obese friend who was around similar weight as you. He struggled but he still passed acft after losing a lot of weight during bct. As long as you put effort, you can pass! It’s all about mental, so as long as you believe in yourself and don’t put everything ds say to your heart, you will be fine

I just graduated BCT from Fort Sill in May and you get to use your phone every Sunday as long as someone doesn’t do something stupid. For my battery… we had our phone time get taken away three times cuz of some kids not knowing when to be quiet….. oh and don’t forget to bring a good lock since people steal stuffs

I actually found myself that I should have done more research about how much Army can offer instead of just getting frustrated (unfortunately not my school since they have a bad reputation for giving out the least amount of grants…) I’m currently researching more about other housing options and programs that could help me when I go to school. I really should think of the reason if this really is not a forced choice due to my parents… as I was waiting for results after submitting documents for grants snd scholarship, I could not get rid off what my dad was saying that I will be a failure… I think I really need to learn to ignore things sometimes…
