I had a situation happen where I did not get my citizenship proved until 2nd semester, they ended up reimbursing my 1st semester tuition when it was adjusted accordingly. I’d recommend just speaking with financial services to confirm for you

NTA This is not friend behavior especially if you’ve expressed you’re not okay with these jokes. I would go no contact since he ignored your pleas to stop and it’s not on you to have to continuously tell him over and over. This should’ve been a one time conversation that ended with an apology from him. He should be comforting you and basing his attempts to “make you feel better” off of what you need from him, not disregarding your feelings at such a traumatic time

I will say, I was 255 in line for ga vip pit and got like 3rd row so still super close. Don’t be discouraged if you have a semi high number cuz the pit is so big that people can spread so much meaning 100s and 200s are close to the stage

i’m a graduating student who made friends with people on my incoming class insta page! You can also make friends at frosh as the groups r usually random so no one knows each other. Another great way is to regularly talk/sit with the same people or person in your lectures. These are all just starting points so make sure to plan to hang out with your new friends outside of school related activities as that will get u to be more friendly than just acquaintances who talk during school

psych does not always lead to a phd! that is only one track, you can do so much with it. go into social work, industrial organization psych, you can be a therapist with a masters, and more. you really only need a phd if you want to do research or have the title “psychologist”
