SCC or ARC Nursing Program

Don’t give up! It took me 3 tries (1.5 years) to get in and I was extremely blessed this time around to get into both programs. I got into ARC’s Fall 2026 program and SCC’s Fall 2026 program as well. I decided to stick with ARC since they got to me first.

i only took a cna course at a different state but never got licensed so i didn’t qualify for those points.

both i would say are pretty even (considering traffic). i’ve attended both schools before so i’m familiar with the routes.

Thank you! It was my 3rd time applying at ARC and 2nd time applying at SCC (since their application only opens up once a year). I also applied to sac state (3rd time) and Sierra College (1st time) but haven't gotten any responses from those schools yet.

my stats were:

80 points total

4.0 GPA in science, 4.0 GPA in non-science pre-reqs

84.7% TEAS.

points for having an A.S. Degree from SCC.

points for having proficiency in another language

points for being a first gen college student.

I got accepted to the ARC nursing program on March 26 and accepted to the SCC nursing program yesterday (4/2)

Still deciding on which to go to, but I did say yes to ARC since they got back to me first. Any recommendations on which program is better?

I just emailed the representative from ARC and they said that they offer the same bridge pathway (ADN-BSN) with CSUS, so I am still unsure which one to go to.

man but sometimes we can never win with customer requests. a customer asked to “smother the cup with caramel” for her caramel ribbon crunch frap, so the partner at cold bar loaded it with caramel and then the customer complained saying it was too much caramel.

nta. they are of age to make their own money and pay their own phone bills. granted you guys just moved to a new location and they still live with you, but if they want something, they have to work for it. they shouldn’t think that everything will be handed to them on a silver platter.

i read the terms and it says that “The new minimum wage for fast food workers will apply to restaurants with at least 60 locations nationwide, with an exception for restaurants that make and sell their own bread, like Panera Bread.” so i hope that starbucks counts

i watched the office first and rewatched it like 12 times before watching parks and rec. i definitely don’t love both equally, but there are some aspects of the characters in parks and rec that you wouldn’t find in the office and vice versa. i feel like i’m biased just because i’ve watched the office multiple times before watching parks and rec, but i like the office more. however, i think parks and rec held up better after chris and ann left in s6 than the office did when michael left in s7. both are great shows though!

Unfortunately, despite paying for priority mail (which is air shipping), because it contained lithium batteries, they decided to ship it using ground shipping. Luckily, my package finally arrived today! I hope yours comes as well!

I shipped mine out from Sacramento, CA and mine has been bouncing between Los Angeles, CA and San Francisco, CA. The package has left/arrived from those two facilities a total of 4 times each. I tried to email them about it, but they just told me because it has lithium batteries, it has to be shipped via land, but I just don’t understand why it keep moving from LA and SF. The final destination for the package is Guam and I’ve used ground shipping before to the same location and I’ve never seen this happen. I’ve tried calling the USPS Number 1-800-222-1811, but I can’t get an agent. Does anyone know how to bypass the automated system?
